Right, like I'm going to be inspecting my valves. Let me mark my calendar now before I forget...

I believe you get to see the valves every 50,000 miles during the valve adjustment procedure. My understanding is the adjustment requires the removal of the intake manifold.

Also, my previous reply still stands.... It is not worth doing a catch can if you don't plan to keep your car for a very long time or believe that you may be able to convince the buyer of your used car that it has been taken care of better than almost all other Fit's on the road.
So I did the type r Integra bbk and is ok with the Mini Cooper rotor base mode that is 11”
now I try the Mini Cooper type s and that is a 11.5 rotor love it still running 16”
with that beening said has any one try the Acura tls or the rl four piston caliper on a Honda Fit that will be a 12” rotor for the tls and a 13” rotor for the rl
or should is stop at the 11.5 rotor since the oem is 10” rotor the 11.5” is a great upgrade and I got got to tel you I do have rear disk brakes 11” rotor in the back
I think I already asked you about the rears, but do you think your front brakes would clear the 15" factory steel wheels? Need to be able to fit snow tires in winter.
Just swapped back though, ridiculous how much better the summer tires grip.

15” will not fit unless you run a spacer to push the wheels out
I got Acuity Bushing and Pedal spacer for heel toe down shift lol. Anyone have these installed on their fits? What were the gains?
I have them the bushings make the shift a lot nicer feel to it the pedal adjust kit is great I have on the b setting that was the best for me and my driving
Just getting started with what was suppose to be my commuter but I couldn’t help myself. This little car brings back great memories of my 1990 Civic Si. Not fast but fun as hell to drive. It’s a shame to see people bashing it for being slow and not worth modifying which isn’t true. You won’t hear any argument from me about this not being a fast car, but it is quick and nimble. Not as nimble as my Civics double wishbone suspension and light weight but it does get up and go if you drive it like a Honda and keep the revs up high. I’ve driven my friends C7 Z06 and that’s a beast but it’s hard to do anything other then straight line bursts. I run out of talent before the car does. This little thing is simple and brings back the joy of simple mods to have some fun.
i have a few things still on order but for now it’s just a few simple things
Done:
- eBay from lip
- Vinyl wrap front grill
- Replaced chrome rear garnish with black from sport model
- Mixture of real and carbon “look” interior trim
- leather shift knob from EX-L model
- Hid headlights and Led turn signal switchbacks and yellow Led foglights. Led reverse, license plate and trunk bulbs
To be installed
- Tein lowering springs
On order
- Rear wing extension
- Mugen window visors
Planned
- custom cat back ehxaust combined with HKS or perhaps custom built from Greddy universal muffler
- Rims
- Fender flares
- Debating intake mainly for sound. ( This engine is buzzy as hell)
- J’a or k spec eyelids. ( U.S. model headlights have way too much chrome in them. The headlight look oversized compared to Asia models.
typo
How is the fit on the front lip? Just held on by screws in the bumper from under?
Curious on what options are there on rear wing extension? Thx
please report back at 100k, I'm curious to see how valves look for the non catch can crowd
90k no catch can. I bought a set of laser iridium plugs and a scope recently. I'll take some pics of the inside to see if the 5k mile synth only cycle and 93 only has payed off or not.
Yes the air sensor in not a problem
The problem is that is got a weight sensor so it can tell if someone is sitting down but the light in the cluster is marked as a airbag problem but not to worry it don’t bother me any

Oh, thanks. It doesn't make the chime sound or any beeps?
I put my front lip on yesterday. Gotta stay away from curbs now lol. I back in where I work/live anyway because this place is a raceway for UMASS students.... Backing out here is scary.

I hope to do so, I'm not the first owner though, but the engine has been taken care of perfectly. Hopefully there's not a lot of carbon build up, probably not, it runs like it has 5 miles, not 37K.

for better or for worse, I am curious to see your results!

it came with cheap double sided tape and a few screws. I went and got 3m double sided tape and used new screws with good size washers to avoid the screws punching through the plastic.
