on the topic of RS wings, I totally forgot that I have one laying around in the garage!!!

brake cooling duct install

Why would you do that to your brakes look to me you have to up grade to bigger brakes so you can track it and have the cooling vent just my to cents

why do that? why the heck not?


maybe he wants cooler brakes. maybe hes got big brakes in the future and will track and needs cooling....

You have a very good point BUT since the GK5 is a pretty light car and im planning on upgrading brake lines (as well as clutch line) to braided i wanna test first how does it works... besides i think i merely spent about 40 to 50 dollars in a mod that would work with either OEM or any brake upgrade i do...

Brakes

Your best bet is the do the rear brakes swap to rotor and get the 11.1 front rotor you will stop in a dime

That was the initial plan... until i saw the rear drum to disc conversion will set me back about 1,000.00 usd plus shipping.... ... the fit brakes pretty good imo... but the cooling ducts are just an extra help...

Front brakes

05 Mini Cooper rotor
05 Acura TL base model caliper with bracket
or 2014 accord i4 caliper and bracket
or Acura nsx caliper for dual piston
less then 300 and the pads for what ever caliper combo you get oem big brake kit
THIS IS WHAT IM RUNNING I DONT HAVE STEEL BRADED LINE AND I STOP ON A DINR I DO THE AZUSA CANYON RUN NO PROBLEM
and I do have the 6mt😎

Got these in not to long ago and finally was able to install it. Dome light and lic plate light. Love it so far

LED is the way to good on gk5

i had HID S BUT I WILL GET A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT SO I GOT ALL MY LIGHT LED IN AND OUT LOVE THEM
