most bisi owners wont sell (more sound compared to other exhausts, and per my butt dyno ... more hp as well) ... unless they dump the entire car

 

You can take the picture to the muffler shop to make you one me I’ll go old school or get the spoon one if not just get a muffler that you can see through the other side you will get 9 to 11 hp but if your looking for power just get the header with the cat delete from rv6

Has it served to make the car quieter at cruising speeds?

 

I wouldn't really know, my stereo is always up LOL. I don't hear road noise from the back, I get it up front instead.

Seriously, I will take a ride with it out and with it in. Then I’ll let you know if there is a difference. I never really had much notice of rear road noise, but up front I’ve always gotten some. Probably the tires. New Falken Ziex tires. I have Continental tires on my CRV that are WAY quieter.

I run continental True Contact Tours and the are much more quiet than the stock Firestones. I am thinking of doing some sound deadening and sound insulating as well. I don't know why, but I seem intent on trying to turn my Fit into a Lexus. I guess that's just how much I love the car.

the verdict is in. This morning I dropped my wife off at work I had the panel out. On the way back I put it back up. It did seem to quiet it down a little. Yes I left my radio down for a few miles So I think it will improve the sound deadening. Mine will be quieter once I replace my upper front strut rubber mounts. I get a small rattle from them. The dealer I bought it from “doesn’t hear it”. Well I do so I’ll take care of it myself.
