Scored a set of unused oem carpet mats for 70 bucks on good ol craigslist, and mounted an ebay special aluminum heel plate on the drivers mat so i dont burn a hole through the carpet with my clutch heel 😂

Suprisingly it feels great, supports your heels well during spirited driving.

Nice! I like all the protection I can get on original equipment.

Hello all,
I have had my Fit for all of two days now, and we had about two inches of snow last night in my neck of the woods. While I noticed traction control was just dying to make itself known, the car handled the powder just fine with or without the aid enabled.

+1 I am envious, now you have to show the ebay link . I have husky all year round and I still have the OEM carpet might have to put it in good use with the heel plate.

Same! Mine came with a set of cheapo universal carpet mats, and i burned a hole straight through mine in about 500 miles 😓. Done about 1k miles with the foot plate on the oem mats and i see no visible wear 👍

It's not recommended to use 55W bulbs because the GK5's fog light bulbs are rated at 35W.

Bought it

Then a few hours later I had it tinted. Deluxe Window Tinting in Rancho Cordova does amazing work at a great price if you are in the Sacramento area! Next up I am hoping to do a rear wiper delete and get some yellow film for the fogs.

Thanks! It's 5% in the back, and 25% in the front. The back windows are DARK, I think they just look lighter from the reflection. It's thicker tint that blocks heat much better than traditional film.

Delete the rear wiper?! That would be a mistake. The shape of the car attracts dirt to the rear window, not to mention poor visibility in the rain. I use my rear wiper a lot.

Agreed. Maybe on a showcar you can get away with it, but not on a daily driver.

TheHate - congrats on the new car. The Sport model really has nice side skirts. I'll have to source some for mine.

Thanks guys! The tint is 25% on the front windows, and 5% on the rear. Good to know about the rear window attracting dirt! I always thought the wiper deletes looked really clean, but I'll hold off as this car will be driven quite a bit.

Wheels and more low is coming, anyone have suggestions for coilovers they've liked on these cars?
