This is my first Honda, first car since 2000( a used 94 Jeep Cherokee I kept until the end of 2016 ) and only my second brand new car (1983 VW GTI that the Jeep replaced). Althoug I am not happy with the bumper issue and hope I don’t experience some of the mechanicals I have read here, I really like the car. I like the interior roominess, the way it drives and most of all the gas mileage.
As far as dealers. The one I have used (not the one I purchased from) which has only been for 2 oil changes is very good. Great customer service. I blame Honda corporate for lack of follow up or reaching out to fix the bumper. Fingers crossed I get the same dependability I got from my last two cars. Everyone tried to talk me out of the Jeep and everyone raved about Honda so time will tell.
Sorry to get off the bumper topic.

I was not happy with the foam fix. The gap came back some after about 600 Miles highway driving. The foam compressed. I replaced the foam with two pieces of wood wedged in the same spots. It tightened up the gap perfectly. Will see if it stays this way.

All the more reason why I'm thinking about retro fitting a 2018 Sport front / rear bumper on my 2015 EX.
