Quality Issues with new Fit
This will sound super simple, but I did it myself a few times. Make sure you aren't bumping the lanewatch button at the end of the stalk when you signal or the camera will stay on until you hit home or press the stalk button again.

Check the owner's manual for lanewatch, and then Settings Menu on Screen while Lanewatch is engaged and see if that helps.
If not, consult the service adviser at Honda.
I just bought my new Fit Saturday, so no quality problems...yet. Hopefully, never!
We are quick to blame the new Mexico plant, but after two years, my Prius C, built in Japan, ended up with a tail light filled with water and ac/heater buttons that intermittently wouldn't work. Before that, I had a Nissan Versa built in Mexico that had no quality issues. Are we blaming them because it's a NEW plant or because it's in Mexico?

After all these years with our '07 Fit we sprung for a '15 model (built in March of this year) this week. The fit and finish on the car were absolutely first class. The doors were precisely aligned, the gaps so even it was hard to believe. The door profile and the adjoining panels were precise. The paint is beautiful. I am very happy with it.
We skipped the second generation and waited for the third. Glad we did as I really like this car. Now my '12 CR-V seems so "old tech" and my '07 Fit seems ancient.

The clutch pedal on my Fit was yet again squeaking. Took it back to the dealer this week and got it back on Tuesday. So far, it seems to be better. Instead of just oiling it with WD-40, they adjusted the spring's tightness. Seems to have resolved it.
Hope that helps the few of you who have this issue

2015 FIT Windshield Stress Fractures (Cracks)
This may be just my car, but it is very unusual to experience this.
My FIT is 2015 production, just 2 months old.
Detailing the car this week for the first time, noticed cracks in the Black section lower passenger side corner. They are not visible from the inside as they all sit below the dash line. They are also partially covered by the short wiper. Even looking at them directly, they are not easy to see, and require direct sunlight. They are easy to miss, hidden in the black, and could have been there since the car was delivered 2 months ago.
There is spidering off of the main crack line and it ends at the edge of the window. There is no damage at all to the windshield on the outside--perfectly smooth.
Took it to an auto glass repair place for an opinion. Was told that they are stress fractures of the glass possibly caused by improper installation of the windshield unless the windshield was damaged before installation.
Took it to the Dealer. Service manager inspected. He pulled away the molding from the passenger side to see that crack originates at edge of the window and travels irregularly approx. a foot horizontally. He said it was a stress fracture, and they will replace it, and ordered a new windshield.
He shared that newer windshields are lighter, thinner, and subject to more fracturing than the windshields of old in order to reduce weight and increase fuel economy.
I have never had stress fractures of any windows in any other cars that I have owned including another Honda.
---
Follow-up:
-New Windshield was installed today under the warranty ($678.00).
-Multiple fractures up to 12 inches were found on the inside running to the side of the glass in the black area.
-They will send the fractured Windshield to Honda for inspection per their request.
-Service adviser did not believe that it was systemic, and thinks this was an isolated incident on my car only.
-Honda's glass installer said the original Windshield was not aligned properly--was not centered and off to one side too much. He said that could have been the cause, but not sure. He said misalignment can happen on the assembly line when the robots lay the glass down or the glass was dropped too hard causing a slight fracture that expanded in the heat.
-He took care to align and center the new windshield properly.

So we had hail here in slc utah today so after I of course carefully inspected my car, looking at the rear bumper, it looks to be painted( and not well done) looking at the rear hatch the gap left to right is almost double on the left side than the right, and looking at the hood its not aligned ether and by the looks of things the left fender actually sticks farther forward almost half an inch, just contacted my dealer we'll see what they have to say about the issues

Today at the Honda dealer I was waiting for my car to be done and was inspecting the New Honda HRV in the showroom that comes from the same factory as the FIT in Mexico. On the HRV, I also saw that the hood was aligned unevenly like on my FIT. One side was closer to the body than the other side--uneven gaps.
Please let us know what your dealer says.
That would be very helpful.
Ive also had an issue with my dash the vent area on the drivers side sticks up about 1/2 inch took that one to the dealer and they removed the part and said because it had no broken tabs only way for replacment would be for me to buy one... for 91 dollars... then when I turned that down they offered to GLUE it down... we'll see what they say, but its not just the alignment on my hood, the fenders them selves are moved forward, not left to right, although the gap at the rear of the fenders are the same...
I bought my GK Fit on the October of 2014. I have never really had a major problem with the early models after 7 months of ownership. The only thing I can really complain about is the 7 inch infotainment system on the EX being extremely slow and unresponsive at times. Also some of the gaps on the doors are very inconsistent.
I have noticed that on my FIT that the hood is not aligned as exact as it could be, nor are the bumper covers, and some other parts. I would not say any are off more than 1/8 of an inch +/-. I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt right now, and chock it up to normal production variance.

Just wanted to let you guys know that my Honda dealership just let me know that there is a service bulletin on the drivers side A pillar. I went in to get the gap fixed on the drivers side and they ordered the plastic piece next to the small window, that did not fix anything. According to them, there are a bunch of A pillars that are deformed and can be ordered and replaced at your dealership.
I should be getting my new A pillar part in a week or two and will let you guys know if it fixes the problem!

Hey guys, I have question:
The interior of front seat (Driver Side), does it have "Cover" on the area
around gas petal and foot brake?
My car doesn't have cover and it exposes the insulation and other car parts:

The White part of image is just a paper that I use to cover floor until I get mat :^)

TbFit, if you right click on the picture icon and select "Open Link" you should be able to view the picture.

I am still waiting for them to get my part in, but when I go back in I can see if they will give me that info. My dealership treats me like I am an idiot because I am a woman I think > <
I'm beginning to regret buying this car (a bit). If this simple issue can't be resolved, what would they do if I had a real problem with the car? What angers me more is I can look at five other Fits on the lot, and none of them have this issue, so they can't say "they're all like that."
