Im just playing off the you might be a ricer if your exhaust is putting out more decibals than your car has hp. crank hp could be about 115. im running t1r lightened dampener, passwordjdm intake, and self made header and test pipe. i guess you cant take the rice out of a car built in the rice country.

Ah, OK, that power level sounds about right for the mods, then. 115whp from a stone stock Fit would be one thing, unless it was on a Mustang dyno...

for all those who want to know the fit with no muffler is not really loud. its like screaming during sex. no matter how loud everything gets you dont notice the sound.

we were comparing the no muffler vs. a greddy tic axleback yesterday and his had a higher note coming out of his. the no mufflers sounded nice and deep. i love it!

I had a local muffler shop fabricate a 2 1/2" axle back pipe with a 18" glass pack before I had put 500 miles on my Fit for less than $80.00. The sound is very rich and mellow and not in the least bit harsh.

apparently its NOT loud at all, i drove next to a friend of mine and when we stopped and got out i asked him "how do you like the sound?"....and he replied "what sound?" . i thought that was crazy....because inside the cabin it seems loud as hell but on the outside its so different....a slight rumble but nothing significant or really noticeable. it kinda sucks its so quiet...it sounds good inside the car though, and i dig the no muffler look.

The only time that sound could be annoying is when cruising at over 70 MPH. The AEM intake noise is much louder than the exhaust when accelerating at WOT but overall it sounds much less annoying than the majority of the aftermarket systems on the other small displacement four cylinder cars I've heard. It is like music to my ears and has not hurt my gas mileage or the performance.

You should be a pioneer. If it's anything like most newer Hondas you'll just need a set of ramps or a jack and, IIRC a 12mm socket. There's only two bolts where the axle-back is connected.

If anyone wants to trade their stock muffler for this piece in the TriState area let me know. It sounds awesome and keeps the stock tip.

^^^ that piece just looks like you cut out the muffler and put a straight pipe in its place.
