Anphoe.... Great photos! I cruised to the website and the Rubbertite mats are available in a couple of different colors. Are yours BLACK or GREY? I would guess BLACK but there is enough glare that I couldn't be sure.

GoFits:
FedEx just delivered my mats about 20 minutes ago. Thickness is about 1/8" and they are pretty light weight compared to most mats. They have little nubs on the back side to grip existing floor covering (notice I did not call the cheap factory stuff "carpet"). I have not driven the car yet, but sitting in it, the Lloyd mats don't seem as if they will move around much, if at all. Warm weather will make this material settle down to conform to irregular surfaces that make the new mats sit a little high in spots due to the cold temps. I ordered the black color for my BOM Fit, and they DO look very good.

Their cutting pattern makes these an exact fit to a high degree, but I am a little disappointed that they do not cover the area under the accelerator pedal. If you get in your car with leaves or mud on the sole of your right shoe, your heel will rest on the mat, but everything else leading up to the pedal will get covered with whatever your shoe brought in. Same complaint with the left side of the driver's mat, but my Zeta Dead Pedal will keep dirt off the uncovered area. In spite of my minor objections,I think that they are worth the $60.00 or so price tag. I don't think that mats HAVE to be heavy just because most of them just ARE.

Anphoe:
Thanks for your original post on these mats. I like the looks very much. Also, the web site AJ-USA.com Performance Cars and Parts carries a lot of other products that are worth looking at for Fits.

Check college hills honda site - they have pdfs for most common accessories. Just browse to the floormats and the pdfs shold be there. Again, don't even bother with the rear hooks, the front ones are all you'll need, and they're easier to install to boot. There's a bunch of info in the pdfs about cutting out templates to find the place to put the hooks, etc, but this applies to the rear mats only, so feel free to disregard all that stuff....

Ordered the black Rubbertite mats from AJ-USA. Got them in record time and very happy overall with the price, style, and fit. I agree with manxman's comments about wishing they covered a bit more of the driver's left and right foot area but overall it's something I can live with. I also wish that Rubbertite offered a continuous mat for the backseat floor since their two piece approach doesn't cover the small "hump"... but, alas, neither does any other vendor that I could find for this model and style.

All in all, I'm quite happy with the rubbertite mats from AJ-USA!

I agree with your comment on a one-piece door-to-door rear mat- too bad no one offers this.

Here's a suggestion-
You will probably find as I did that the slick stock floor covering will encourage a small amount of slipping around with your new mats. As another member posted, a cheap and quick cure is anti-slip rubber netting. I used anti-slip kitchen shelf liner from K-Mart. A 12" X 60" roll cost $4.79 and was enough for all front and rear mats. All slipping is now gone and no hooks (like OEM) were needed.

No problem - check the hooks that you received from the pics in the PDF. If you have the 4 front hooks, you're good to go - no need to bother with waiting for the rear ones.....

Yeah, installation of the front hooks is very easy, just the rear ones are troublesome. Don't know why they only put hooks on the rear passenger side but not the rear driver side?

the hooks come with the mats when you buy them as a honda accessory. just got mine today, and it looks like a "simple" job with some careful measuring and a small utility knife

Supposedly it's because a badly misplaced rear mat (as in, jammed under the seat or something) could potentially interfere with the passenger-side occupant weight sensor, which could lead to the passenger airbags deploying incorrectly. The driver's seat doesn't have weight or occupant position sensors, other than the seat position sensor in the rails.

Will they fit in it? Is there a specific size for the fit or can I use ones like I find in autozone or somewhere like that?

Okay, I wasn't too clear on that, I thought you were talking about generic mats.

I have the OEM all season mats, and they are great. ~$85 through BernardiParts.com.

There's also carpet mats that are slightly cheaper, but the buzz on those isn't all that great. No personal experience with those, though.....
