Sounds good. I don't have much wiggles on my FitS(GD) because its running enduratechs but the FitSW(GE) is completely stock. The steering input/feedback isn't bad, the car needs a tad more swaybar action

Need to wash my FitSW today. Lots of bug spatter on the front end. For this, my weapon of choice is Wizards BugRelease.
After the initial wetdown with the hose, just spray the affected area. Takes about 2min to work so I start washing the rear of the car. By the time I get to the front, the spatter just lifts off with one or two passes with te mitt. no scrubbing.
Works great all the time. Scrubbing paint with a mitt can be a very bad thing for the paint because the mitt can contain some grit or bug parts that can swirl the finish.
If there is old stubborn bug spatter on the car, I recommend using clay instead.

After washing my GE I noticed that someone bumped the driver side edge of the rear bumper with a beigish colored car or something.
Took out my Griot's Polish3, 3" orange pad, and 3" RandomOrbital and within a min the paint transfer came off.
In other news, my new Griot's coconut duster wasnt as good as I thought. Maybe I need to break it in alittle more but its kinda linty, especially the interior one. My old cal-duster worked better...had to go over it to remove the lint.

I work for a component supplier for oem. My specialty is acoustic products. Without you knowing you have seen or touched or heard atleast one of the products I worked on, guaranteed.
So my FitS has been sitting all day. Took a day off.
haven't driven it since last Friday, actually.
My GE with over 5.5K miles still shows 50% oil life left. Might be able to get to Fall without an oil change.
and the first one is free (dealer coupon).

i dont deal with software. right now im doing mostly
hardware components, very small size. like under 5mm small,
reflowable onto PCB. needs to fit on mobile phones.
in the past ive done home stereo speakers, home theater
speakers, computer speakers, PA speakers, commercially
installed sound systems, microphones, sensors, audio jacks,
headphones, headsets, switches, oem factory installed car
products, remote controls, user interfaces, LCD's,
touchpanels. most major brands use the stuff i do. i deal
mostly with Fortune 100 companies. this is why i say you've
seen or heard or touched at least one of my products without
you knowing.
it was pretty hot/humid here in chicagoland about a week
ago but it kinda cooled off a little bit. our summers only goes
up to about nominal 85F range.
ive lived in the gulf coast and pacific coasts in the past.
gulf coast was SUPER hot and humid kinda reminded me of
Japan's summer. pacific coast was nice. very cool breeze in
the afternoon.
chicagoland is kinda different. we get all
sorts of weather here. it can be nice cool sunny in the
morning but can t-storm by afternoon, followed by a hot
blazing sun to really crank up the heat index by evening.

I use to fix those before. All I can say it's not worth it. Now days, unless your using thousand dollar head units or amps. I say junk it and buy new. The labor alone is going to cost you half of the new unit and it will never be the same. That's just my honest opinion though.

+1. most electronics these days are cheaper just to get a new one. most of the parts are reflowed so you can't really remove them from the PCB anyways.... well you can but takes more work.
plus i dont have the time. hahaha.

I have seriously like 3 headunits and 2 amps chilling with all functions showing they work, but no output
And it is almost always better to just buy new ones. I really want to fix my Infinity amp tho. The Q shaping controls really lets you custom tune the sweet spot for the bass.
