I can't believe this douche had the nerve to come back here and actually try and say he didn't do anything wrong regarding the iKONA clusterfuck.

YOU, SIR, ARE THE ASSHOLE WHO INSISTED IKONA WAS LEGIT WHEN EVERYBODY AND THEIR FUCKING MOTHER WAS POPPING UP WITH STORIES OF BEING RIPPED OFF. YOU MADE SURE HE GOT HIS SECOND (THIRD? FOURTH? FIFTH?!) CHANCE AND THEN WHEN SHIT WENT DOWNHILL YOU DISAPPEAR FOR MORE THAN 6 MONTHS. THEN YOU CAME BACK ONE DAY 7 MONTHS AGO, PERFORMED SOME SHEEPISH DENIALS AND HAVEN'T SHOWN YOURSELF SINCE. DO YOU THINK WE'RE MORONS?!

I never got the money back. $250 Loss, and I've never been scammed before he just seemed like an honest guy who knew what he was doing.

The pieces he offered for our cars were unique and are otherwise hard to find. (Rear Wiper + Badge Delete and a JDM-Style Tailgate Garnish)

 

unfortantly that is how scammers work. They seem like nice guys at first and offer shit for a decent price.

 

I think I lost $450 to ikona. sucks but you live and learn

 

holy crap; i didn't realize he got the fit community also. i worked with him back in the scion scene and pretty much everything he made / painted looked horrible.

 

Luckily I didn't get scammed but he did make a shit product. I sold the grill which was horrible and the rear garnish I made it work with double sided tape.

 

Well, John now supposedly has a new business partner, Alan Eosso (Big Top GT), who wants to square things with prior "dissatisfied customers" before proceeding. At least with the Tesla and Lotus folks. Not sure about the Lambo, Lexus, Scion, Fit, etc., folks, though. But I think it might be worth looking into.

The links I posted have all the info how to get in touch with Alan, as well as some healthy skepticism and more background including John's other aliases. I'm "doug" on those forums and am the head moderator/admin at the Tesla forum.
