Wow, just wow. He does the same thing over and over, on different forums:

- starts group buys for stuff at really good prices
- ships a few parts or none, all poor quality
- lays low for a while
- returns, claiming to have turned over a new leaf -- truth probably is that the money ran out and he needs to steal more
- gets banned
- finds a new group to rip off

Seems to me that the only way to stop this is for the ripped off people to pin him to the wall legally. Hopefully Tork's messages in that regard will help.

To the moderators: please DO NOT ban this guy. It lets him off the hook. Leave the account open, make him be the one to cut off communications if he so chooses. You will be doing the people seeking legal recourse a favor.

I think I would be intrigued to hear what he has to say if he dares post again. For what it's worth, I wouldn't mind if he were *unbanned*.

how we doing, guys? everyone making the necessary contacts? I had a few words with a good friend of mine who works for the federal gov't, his suggestion was exactly what Mike took the liberty of doing for you.....locating the P.D. in the county John resides in + contacting your local P.D. If you guys don't try, you won't know.

Maybe John Perez is just too young to run a business.... Whatever the reason is that caused this mess, it is very apparent that he is going to be learning a lesson that he won't forget any time soon.... I think it is a shame that it has come to this because if things had been done right the kid could have came out very well financially and made a lot of people happy.... I'm sure glad that I don't have his problems.

Yep, post 129 for a criminal investigation you can get all his DBA, address etc on the scionlife forum, been meaning to assemble that, but somebody else could too Try going to your PD when they are not too busy.

You guys need to do this!!!!!!!!!!
He will not like the sheriff or the detectives knocking on his door. Once he knows what he is up against and how much a lawyer is going to cost him he is actually going to see that it would be cheaper just to pay you guys back!

I suspect he doesn't have any money at all... Not sure what he might have done with everyones money, but any reasonable person wouldve just gave out the refunds and avoid all this. I'm SURE he has seen this thread.

I dunno, I bet he could dig some up from somewhere if he really started getting nervous. This little game does not seem new to him.

Well I got my lower rear hatch garnish today in the mail; it was supposed to be painted, but it came primed ready to paint...ugh hopefully I can get at least that part of my money back.

I'll take some pictures of the fitment later tonight.

I did a quick mock holding it up and it looked pretty good. But I'll have my brother hold it up later today and I'll take some pictures.
