I just realized he gave his phone number to me while we were discussing GE parts. If you call please be mature and professional about it. Cussing him out and threatening him will only make him run away more and hurt your case. I don't know if its his cell or business number or what but here it is.

Management here is awesome for keeping this thread open so people here can work together and seek restitution. You have had your 'pound of flesh'..... now knock it off!!!!!

request to ff management.
could you please delete non productive posts especially if that can be an alternative to locking.........thanks

lol. actually, that avatar was NOT put on by me, but someone who had hacked into my account.

granted, there have been FAR worse avatars and gif's....and they were accepted and even used by mods. i agree with you that respect should be shown though, but just for everyones fyi, no one told me to take it down, i did it on my own accord since it was not me who put it up. i'm just stating it for those who WANT to know if fit freak allows it or not, they techincally do as long as its not pornographic.

my rep went down cause i had to change my email address to one that i could access at work to reset my password. once i reactivated my account, my rep came back.

but thanks to those who repped me. let me know if i have not returned the favor.

anyways. so yeah ikona sucks.

No reflection on you, and certainly no insult intended.
Just been on many forums for many years, and have been in the position to have to make those judgement calls and delete them myself.

We had pics no worse then that in an OT thread and had to knock it off cuz one of the lady members complained..................

Well I am going to call the Berwyn IL police dept, before the drunken Friday nite rush when they are sure to be busy. See if I can add something constructive to put some heat on Mr John Perez AKA IConYou

Also worth noting, prolly an admin made a cool change around the iKonYou user name, go to page 1 1st posts and you will see it. It is good!

called the Berwyn IL Police dept......got some great info

What John Perez aka iKonyou aka Delta?? is doing is called 'deceptive practice' a polite way of saying sales fraud.

If you file a complaint, they say they will investigate!!!!!!!!!!

Guys who are within driving distance can file a complaint right at the Berwyn Police Dept, you can not file a complaint by phone fax or email.

....so for example Solbrothers......Matt should go to his local Police Dept and file a complaint there, that Cali PD should then forward to Berwyn IL PD

Obviously bring your payment receipt,,,,,,,,and every bit of info you can compile

John Perez's address(S) if more than 1, phone number all of his DBA's (doing business as) address of the Berwyn PD
just every bit of info you can compile to make it as easy as possible.

Officer didnt think it was a cyber crime, and thought that filing as suggested above would get the best results.

This is free, all you have to do is invest a little time and effort. This I think is smarter than calling him, if you do call, be firm but do not cross any lines, dont threaten
that could put the heat back on you

you can also do a civil class action law suit, but that cost some $$$

I actually found an awesome lawyer here in Illinois for my business I would highly recommend (not so easy to find a great lawyer, I made about 4 mistakes before this guy was recommended to me by a close friend)

Say 10 guys, they would have to come up with around $30-60 each to file a suit. Perez may cave in at that point and make it a priority to pay people back rather than come up with $1000-2000 to defend himself.

If not it would probably be another $30-60 each from the 10 guys to take it to court to get a judgement. (which I am sure you would win)

Perez may ignore the judgement, then the 10 guys might have to pay $20-40 to have the lawyer find his bank account and remove the money.

And that is IF he has money in an account.

This post should help you guys a lot
Mike
