i was afraid of that... sorry to hear it.

IIRC, there's a two month policy with paypal. a week before my cut off day i made sure to PM the iKONA till i got a response and ask that he send my grille - i got it a few days before i could file a claim. i wish i hadn't though because it's a piece of shit.

the sad part(obviously other than tons of people out of money and product) is that it gives vendors a bad name when companies like prm and jdp both have some of the best customer service i've ever dealt with. both john and gerry have responded to all my pm's within hours. my jdp cf lip was damaged (due to shipping) and john at jdp immediately made me a new one and shipped it yesterday with no cost to me.

i know this is kinda off topic its just a shame that it takes one douche bag like this guy to put a dent in other honest people's business(referring to the people who have said that incidents like this will steer them away from any forum vendors in the future)

i was stupid and jumped right into the purchase without looking at all the warnings. With this being said, why did the mod's allow this guy to sell on this forum? He does it once, its gonna happen again no matter where he goes. Hope all of you get your money back. I was lucky enough to get my part, crap quality at that.

Escalated to a claim this morning.
John Perez is a fraud and scammer. He has promised me and many others on fitfreak.net and scionlife.com that we would receive our products or receive a refund for not shipping them out. You can search on google ikona usa and see the path of destruction he has left on car forums from his scamming business

He has told me numerous times that i would get a tracking number, took almost two weeks for him to communicate back to me that he received my payment and when he finally did he said he did not know what I had ordered (even though I had sent him a private message on fitfreak.net with the exact order). I am afraid that I will never receive my product even though he has said that he has shipped it out. Why couldn't you get the tracking number right when you shipped it? I have done shipping of parts to people before and the shipper gives you the tracking number immediately.

Check this link on fitfreak.net
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...read-here.html
You'll see a list of people who he either owes money or products to from other transactions.

Hopefully we can catch this SCAMMER and FRAUD and get everyone who he owes money their refund
Hopefully this will help. If Ikona owes you money please post up with a dollar amount and a date of the transaction

last time, we are past the "i told you so" phase...if you aren't going to contribute more than the obvious beating of the dead horse speach...move on. I will delete every post that pours more salt into the wounds of those who lost money. if you want more answers as to why iKona wasn't stopped...PM THE ADMINISTRATION!

Last warning...then I close this thread

Dan,
just go ahead and delete the 4 or so posts that are lame brained.
That would make you hero of the month in my book
The majority of members who are good to great people I bet would agree.
Then the thread can stand as being entirely productive as a remedy to help folks get back their dough.
