Skunk2 $169.00 vs OEM $-2.00

$149.00 Free Shipping!
but where's the solenoid? ya what,? ya have use your old 1?
And then buy a cover to put over the old rusted solenoid. 19.50, free shipping!
Total: $169.50! :( 2nd place

less than 2.00 no shipping required. :D win!

I know the S2 is very nice but I like it when I can save a buck, under the plug wires and stuff 169.00 will be better spent somewhere else.

you shouldn't need a b16 starter, b series should work.

but looks like you got it taken care of.

Thanks guys!^ MR,B2 and Subie

9/25/13
Took the interior door handle off the D.S. Have a set of chrome pulls from a 4 door sedan, took the pin out and installed the chrome where the plastic pull was. Repainted satin black and replaced the red vinyl on the lock knob. When the black door panel is all together it will really "pop" the chrome.
Now that the weather is cooling down it makes it way better to work out in the shop. Removed the 4 jack stands and she's back on the floor. Dang if it ain't low! Sitting on 18" rims and still below my chest.

Started making room under the dash by moving the AutoMeter Nexus under the amps. I didn't know what the Nexus was till I had to move it. It turns out EGT, tach, Nitrous pressure, and oil pres. is monitored through this and if I had the CD to download the program you can track all the engine's info on a laptop.
Installed a new key switch, the old one was damaged when the car arrived. This came from a CRX donor car in the bone yard.
Just piddiln round but headed to the finish line.

Just an update me and Hailie did a little detail painting tonight. The black trim under the rear glass and the buttons on the 1/4 glasses.
And 2 chapters of The Magic Tree House; Afternoon on the Amazon. This car will have gooood memories tied to it. :D

Hailie and I where back at it tonight. This time we took the wind shield wiper motor out and installed the reworked one, & found out why they didn't work. The linkage was off from the motor to the P.S. wiper. Show cars = short cut cars, lol. Cleaned everything up and added silicone grease to the linkage buttons and it's working nice & sssmooth. If it will stop raining long enough tomorrow we'll paint the wind shield cowl. Wet sanded to 1200 and for it age is in good shape.

Sure what year? I'm hoping Cat gets a CRX for her next project car.
What year is yours I have some CRX parts. The hatch and CRX has some interchangeable parts.
Post some pix here.

It's an 86. I don't have any pics of how it sits now, but it is rough. my plan is to completely tear it apart and rebuild with a b16 and turbo. I wont be looking for too much power but around 300 will be plenty for playing.

i got a notice from the city about it being in the driveway so now its sitting in the garage waiting for my ankle to heal so i can get to work.

Cool like to see it! that year has the recest head light w/ the black around them?
So hobble on down stairs and take 5 pix and post 'em up for a project start. And tell us about how ya got it and it's history as you know it. If nobody else I'd like to read/see it.
Hope your getting back on your feet soon.
Mike :D

The 86 and 87s had flush style headlights. This is it when i drove it in high school. Now it doesn't have fenders. When i start my thread i'll post more recent pics.

I'll start a build thread once i start to rip it apart. my ankle has been good enough to walk on but certain angles aren't fun. This was my first car and i received it for my 18th birthday along with $300. They told me that if i could get it running and pass the NC inspection that it was mine. $75 later i was driving it to school.

Def. nice canvas to start with. Start ripp'n!
I remember the 88 hatch I bought 2 years ago, they're little and easy to unbolt. Keep your camera, marker and a box of zip lock bags on hand!
There was 2 CRX's on Military Hwy. off Shell Rd. @ Always Used Auto Parts around Deep Creek.
300 hp in less than 1900 lbs should be a handful!!
