I see. Have you thought about putting washers in between the hood and hood hinges to rake your hood and allow the hot air to escape? I'm not sure how if it will affect with your top mount intercooler with the hot air flowing out in front of the inlet.

 

That is what I'd do after mounting a scoop that would seal to the sides of the I/C... The louvers are part of the problem and that would be doing the same thing on a much larger scale. Before I do anything I need to put a duct from the bottom of the I/C down into the flow of air underneath the car.. I have a small fan for this and I believe there would be a scavenging effect by the accelerated air flow under the car... The duct would also prevent hot air from the radiator from entering the bottom of the I/C.... Now if I can only get my brain and body to respond to my ideas, it wasn't so damned hot outside during the day and the mosquitoes didn't like the taste of my blood so much at night... Wasp stings have had me down for the last three days and my wife's face was so swollen by stings she lost three days of work last week.... Old people react differently to stuff than young people.

The JDP front lip on the GE makes the front end look properly aggressive without compromising the factory body lines in my opinion. FitDeez for example has one on his SSM and it looks perfect, it flows well with the Sport bumper and skirts lines but if at a 3/4 view from the front it looks downright mean. The Mugen front lip on the GE (and GD) seem too busy to me. There are the 3 fins on the center and molded accents on the side of the lip were it mounts by the fogs.

Its not even summer yet and all ready we're hitting 90 degrees here. I hope ya'll get better and are able to get rid of those wasps soon. I've heard that the aggressiveness of certain species of wasp/hornets are directly related to the air temperature. The hotter it is, the more pissed off they get and vice versa.

Doesn't FitDeez have a Mugen front? I was going for a look very similar to Marsbars. Well I guess my first thing to do before I add a JDP lip or a Mugen, is to get a sport bumper first haha XD. I don't know if I like the Mugen rear. Might go with the JDP diffuser or something but then I think it would look weird because of the lower front vs the back...

 

I could have sworn he had the JDP lip at one point. Oh well, it looks like he made a "Home Depo" lip which is pretty much that black plastic material that goes along the bottom of walls/doors. He's a pic from his thread.

sungod is an annual outdoor festival with music/dance/etc at UCSD that started with just student activities and it became so popular that music artists, dance crews, and comedians like wiz khalifa, mike posner, jimmy eat world, big sean and many others started performing

kinda like coachella but less crazy

 

sounds dope but depends if I'm still living at home or not when it comes around cause my parents wouldn't let me go cause they always think I'm doing drugs and stufff >_>
