LOL!

It was a 99 LS. My LS Mesh were BEAT.

One of the backs were bent, which I just remembered, that may suck for the new owner

And they were curbed and the massive amounts of brake dust from the Hawk HP+ pads KILLED the clearcoat.

I'm going to look for pics of a GD on LS Mesh

It looked great, but I can't remember where I saw it

LOL Dayum!

That sounds about average for a set of LS Mesh. Lately, I've been wanted to pick up a set, spraying the inner and sides of the mesh pattern satin black and just polish the hell out of the face and lip.

Either that or pick up a set of HFPs for an 03-05 (I think) Civic Si, 07 Fit HFPs, or 16 (maybe 17 if I can find them) MINI R90s. I need a change up because I'm tired of these current wheels. ha

Eh, thats a little too much black for me. If the face of those meshs were polished it would be perfect.

LOL

If you want some aftermarket wheels, I do a thing on another forum I'm on

It goes like this (prefer for copy/paste of post from another site):

"As some may know I'm a bit of a wheel whore having gone through six sets of wheels last year alone.

Well what some of you may not have known is that I find these wheels for well under market value.

This is where this thread comes in.

I'm offering my wheel whoring abilities to GT.

You're probably thinking, Blue....What are you talking about?

Well:
-You tell me what kind of wheel (mesh/5 spoke/etc), lug pattern, offset, whatever
-You give me a budget
-I find you wheels that fit said requirements.
-If you decide to purchase said wheels, you paypal me 5% of final purchase price.

I guarantee the wheels being 10% under market value (at minimum)

OR

I can sell wheels for you.
-Tell me what wheels you have
-Specs
-Pics
-I do the rest of the work.
-I'll write up a for sale thread
-I'll post it on every forum I'm on that caters to cars that the wheels could fit (which trust me, will be a lot)
-I'll bump the threads
-I'll be in constant contact with you.
-We can do the 5% or work out a flat rate price prior to sale.

Give me some feedback on how to improve this or if interested pm me.

If mods feel this is the wrong section or need anything feel free to pm me and I'll try and put your concerns to ease.

Thanks."

Last week I found a member of that forum a set of MINT 17x8 +35 RPF1's for $450

Nice, I might have to consider that if I do pull for another set of wheels...

But for now though I'll just continue saving up and think of a few dozen options including putting the OEM Sports back on since they only were used 200 miles and are MINT.

Yeah, Vietnam... I wasn't the one with the unique hiking stick.. That guy really weirded me out though.... I wish like hell that the guys that are in Afghanistan and wherever else corporate AmeriKa sees fit to send them weren't having to be going through the horrors they are right now... The VA is kicking us aside and getting to these guys very quickly and there is a lot more knowledge about how PTSD becomes a chronic condition all at once... Corporate pill pushers are making a killing on these guys now and guys my age are still drinking themselves to death or becoming vegetables from taking pharmaceutical cocktails for the last 35 years.... I told one of my wife's cousins to keep her eyes open and make sure her son who had been in Iraq was receiving care if he needed it... She was adamant when she told me he was just fine and there was nothing wrong with him and didn't need help... I hope she changed her mind when he popped a round off in his head.. At least his burial expenses were covered.
