Hmm, either they must be almost done or a new tech doing it. A friend of mine who is a former Honda tech could get to the Lost Motion Springs/Assemblies in about 20 to 25 minutes. Not sure how much time it took to check/replace the springs and reassemble though.

Yeah. I'm hoping not too long. I had to drive an hour and they said it needed to cool off. Very small dealership. I am hoping they are done before 1... I have to go sit in on some interviews.

I havent had it done yet. But i never got a letter or a call from honda or the dealership. Ive checked with the dealer and the online code thing, my vin checked out everytime. Still kinda worries me though. never had any abnormal valvetrain chatter..

Well...I think I'm going to buy the Persols, I just found them for $200! :fap: :fap: :fap:

I've been meaning to buy sunglasses for years, may as well get some that will last and are timeless.

Frickin-a dude, 200 bucks for sunglasses!?! (Had to google "Persols") Not bagging on you in anyway but I couldn't see myself paying that much for a pair. I'd end up either losing them or scratching them up to the point here they aren't usable. LOL

LOL

I'm really good about keeping my glasses. For example:

my last pair of prescription glasses were Armani and cost a few hundred before the lenses; they still look brand new

Shoes on the other hand

Oh, well that isn't too bad then. How long have you had that pair of glasses?

I've got 2 pair of prescription glasses from 3 and a half years ago that I'm "supposed to wear all the time", one pair that I've worn less than 10 times already have a few scratches on it and its usually in the case.

As for shoes, I'm guessing you have a few pair that talk as you walk? IE, the soles are coming off. I know I do.

I've had my Armani's for 3.7ish years and my Kenneth Cole Reactions for 1 year (I looked at them to figure out what they are lol). Where them all day every day.

As far as shoes, I just mean...I scuff them very easily for some reason.

I have 1 pair of shoes that's falling apart. My pair of DC Court Graphix that I wear to work are destroyed. I have a couple sets of Nikes that are perfect except for the aforementioned unexplained scuffs

I can't bring myself to buy some Nike Janoski's if I'm going to scuff them up

No one asked...but i guess ill share:
I am really good about sunglasses. Ive had 3 pairs total over the last 6 years, that were 80, 80, and 120; and i still have 2 of them, so not bad.

Shoes? Well... i have 3 pairs of Onitsuka Tigers, 2 pairs of Vans slip-ons (1 black/1 white), pair of Macbeths Regals, pair of sandals, 2 sets of dress shoes, and some leather Sperrys i wear to work. I call them 'deck-loafers' lol.

Plus 2 pairs of cleats (ordering a third pair next week). You know, until i typed all that out, i didnt realize i had that many lol

They were done with the recall about noon.
I double checked under the hood and everything looks good. :-)

Now I am just working my arse off this summer detailing cars trying to pay off my credit cards.

2 Pair DC Court Grafix
1 Pair Nike Air Force 1 (White/Powder blue, hated color combo at first, its grown on me though)
1 pair Nike Vandal Low
1 pair random Nike Running Shoe

My next 2 pairs will be:
1 pair Hugo Boss dress shoes
1 pair Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski SB

Also:

I'm not sure why I'm having urges to spend money on clothing/glasses/shoes/etc. lately. I guess I'm seeing that I need to be presentable/professional at times lol.

And I just remembered I need to get some links added to my Swiss Army watch and get a new battery.
