For real. As crazy as they look, i think they are pretty cool. Most people that don't know the story probably think its super ghetto lol. Too bad they were only 2.0's and not gti's though

Might be able to sell it for scrap. I dont know any Speed3 guys that want to go back once they switch out that axle-back. Do the second gens still torque steer like there trying to kill you?

I believe so. I don't have a speed3, I just have a normal 3 with the 2.5 liter engine, so that's why I'm looking into this, since it's OEM parts but with a more aggressive sound. And it's cheap.

Just take it to a salvage yard, they'll give you 10-20 bucks for it.

I was thinking of keeping it just to have it somewhere in case I ever want to put it back on.

Hopefully I don't have too much of a problem with that lol. I probably won't jump on this but I think I will eventually when I get a job and when my dad gets more lax with my car. It's not even a year old and really shouldn't spend money on this car instead of school but ffffuuuuccckkkkk I want to lol.

I don't have many parts from my old cars.

Just some CF interior pieces from my Galant. Stock shift knob from my EF. I've used my ARC shift plate in my last 3 cars, etc.

I need a wing large enough and with lift so my car can double as a glider.

I would love to have some real wheels. But I'm not going to sacrifice weight, nor do I want a used set with paint chips all over. Maybe later in life.
Just going to point out that just because wheels are used doesn't mean they will be beat to death, that goes double for the expensive wheels. I picked up my Volk CE28s for $1,200 and they only had two VERY minor chips and the stickers where wearing off. I also picked up some 18" Volk TE37's for my brothers civic for $1,600 and they where MINT!

The other nice thing is if you did find some nice wheels that had faded or chipped paint you could pick them up for cheap then have them powder coated and refinished then have some really nice wheels for cheap.

I understand. I definitely don't have the cash now tho and I ended up getting my rims for around $500 if iirc.

I think some bronze te37 or hyper black ce28 would look hot but well, I have bills to pay, a family, a future to think about. Now if I could find someone in town to do a trade plus cash at the right time, ok. But that's never gonna happen.

Yea I get you have other priority's and its great you put those first before dumping money into something like a car. Fortantly for me im single so after I pay my bills any money I have left over I can put into my hobbies like my car or xbox.

I'll be cutting back on what I spend on my Fit pretty soon... I need a new tractor to keep this place looking better and not so vulnerable to wild fires... When I am able to blade the up hill driveway to the barn when it washes out after heavy rains it'll be less likely that I'll tear up the bottom of the car as much..

Dang TC, sounds like you got land that will fit a dirt track on... Good for some Subaru laps! You modding the tractor too? (Visual - no drops, just wheelies)

Yeah I have over 20 acres that is pretty heavily wooded... I used to have walking trails all through it but I overworked the old 2WD Iseki tractor and plan on getting a 4WD Kubota.. I liked going out in the mornings and watch the deer watch me... My wife can't get through it on her minibike and I need to put up a couple of deer stands... I'm thinking about also getting a wood splitter so I can make some money on the side off of all of the filthy rich cats from all over the place that are moving in lately.... A world renowned chef named Simon Webster has been putting in a vineyard at his bed and breakfast and loves to prepare big parties with barbecued wild hog so I need to set some traps because they are all over the place here and people pay big bucks for the meat of the ones that are caught at a young age and fed a diet of vegetables and grain before being slaughtered. The tractor would make things a lot nicer and possibly put some change in my pocket..
