The Post Whore Thread V.2
Bummer but eh, shit happens unfortunately.
Now that's the ticket! Lol Yeah, definitely go out there and have fun (once you do go that is) and start off slow then build your speed accordingly as you feel more comfortable with your car and your driving.
I remember for autocross portion a teen driving school I took in November last year; the 3 biggest things that can help a person in auto-x and many other driving situations is to look as far as you can down the course, use every inch of pavement you can to hit those apexs, and if you are starting dead at a cone as you begin to turn in 9 out of10 times you're going to hit it (due to hand-eye coordination you'll naturally drive to it) so look slightly to the side of it.

I have been feeling depressed lately. I really need to get the Fit on the road again so I can drive it again. In the mean time anyone have a laugh for me? I could really use one

Aww well that sucks.
I don't know what to say except maybe get outside. Do you have a bike? When I ride my bike I usually feel pretty good afterward.
What's going on with your car?
Dee- wish I could help you out. I'd probably mess it all up lol.

I have a lot of things to do to it... I can't stay on task very long before I need a break... Duke has a couple of huge whitetail bucks that have been jumping on his ass and chasing all over the place.. It started one night when I let him out to pee and he heard movement in the driveway... He growled real low flew off the porch into the darkness, let out a scream returned to the porch and hid behind me... I let him inside and checked out the tracks in the sand.. It was at least 2 bucks.. Today he raised hell with probably the same ones out in an 80 acre hay field... They chased the hell out of him and he was worn completely out... Lupe tries to act like she doesn't like Duke but she was telling me she was going to carry her rifle and shoot them if they jump on him again... Ringo played with deer all of the time, snakes too. Riding a bike is what I should be doing.. I have a few of them including 2 recumbents.. I can't complete a mile long walk without sciatic pain hitting me hard when walking up hill... I need a good quality tire pump for presta valve inner tubes to be able to ride my comfortable 1st year GT Back Woods ATB with all of the tricks including Matrix aero rims and Bullseye hubs...
Sorry I didn't text you back Kelan, I was out with my girlfriend and brother at the pool and I never got a chance to text you back.
Is there anyway I can see how the rotors look?

Pictures of the rotors pre-installation are in this thread a couple of pages back though.
I tried bleeding my brakes and failed miserable. I alway seem to fuck up shit that should be so damn easy and because I could not get the brakes bled I missed the Honda meet yesterday, FML. Was really looking forward to going to that.
Sorry to hear what is you going on with you Tex, I really should't complain. I'm a health 27 year old with a house, nice Fit and a decent job. Now that I also got some of the drama (woman) out of my life I'm feeling much better and just want to get the car back on the road and raise some more hell.
In a side note, has any one else noticed this site seems to have been slow the past few days, maybe im just not looking in the right sections to see new post

Ah, the days...
Could it be possible to improve on the things that your Fit is lacking for you? Did you have the teins on there, or were they never installed? Can't tell by your ad, but the car looks lower. Personally, I think a better suspension setup might make it more engaging, especially if you have a lot of miles on the dampers. As for power, sometimes making the car quieter is better if you have to get on the gas a lot, like in our cars. Especially during summer, I feel like getting anywhere is laborious. Might switch back to the panel filter so it doesn't feel like I'm racing the car to get up to the speed limit. The rawness in 100+ degree temps with a weak a/c is a little punishing when I have to wear work clothes.
I have the Teins on there, and they have confirmed my believes of never buying lowering springs. I don't like them, I'm sure some people would, but once you've experienced a proper coilover, going back to a cheap coilover or lowering spring is no fun.
I have been all over the place in the past week and my ass feels like it has had a mud hole stomped in it.. Even with the coilovers on my Fit, I think it is more comfortable than my wife's Forester... I finally bought a new tractor with front end loader.. I put a pretty decent down payment on it and qualified for a 36 month 0% interest rate loan... After last years wild fire scare I decided I need to cut down some vegetation and plow some firebreaks around the house and barn..... After a fire that burned out of control and onto my land on the last day of 1999 the 2 fire departments that came and state forestry service commended me for having cut fire lanes, saying that they saved my house and the others to the east of me.. There is no doubt in my mind that it isn't getting hotter and drier every year.. Besides that when it does rain hard I end up having to fill in the sand that washes away on my sloped driveway.. There is no way I could leave here in my Fit right now or my wife could park in the barn if she didn't have a Forester because of the last rain we had.

This is what will be delivered here early this afternoon. It will not take long to clean up the place and do some landscaping with this..
