I understand that! My car has been in the shop ( due to an insurance screw up) for over a month ...
I'm supposed to get it back this afternoon ... looking brand new

That blows.

I've already planned to go without a car from May-December 2015 lol.

I'm gonna give my Fit to the step son and then save and order myself a new car...probably WRX. The time of no car note will be nice and help put extra dough towards the downpayment.

Yeahhhhhhhh! Nice! ....or you can get a used one and save you a few $$, though they really don't depreciate that much.

yeah, it will depend on what's available when 2015/2016 models are around.

I really don't want a 3 door which is the rumor for the newest model. So we'll see.

I can't wait to get a wrx, put down a big stack and then have low payments. I'm spoiled by the fit.

Apples and oranges though compared to the Fit.... bigger note and still bigger tab at the pump... I have an '02 Bugeye.

Yeah, I am going to definitely get the payments under $300 ( my fit is at 288 now)
and the gas won't be that big of a deal--my commute is 15 miles total per day.

Don't know man... you might want to take a longer route to work once you get in to the cockpit... It'll be hard not to. Once you get that turbo spoolin' there's no turning back...

LOL, I know what you mean.

I can't wait!

The wifey is up for a new car this year. I am hoping she likes the Impreza when we go look at it. She needs the non-turbo due to her LONG commute (130 miles a day).
We are also going to look at the Insight, the Prius C, Civic, Fit. I want her to have a car she LOVES to drive. She deserves it and we need the mpgs for her commute.

We can't move closer because we want our son to go to these schools. We will move closer eventually.

I probably could have bought a WRX when I bought the Fit, but I was being conservative when I bought the Fit in trying to get the most economical car possible. Now we are doing better and it isn't as tight. But I still want my payments low

The new 2.0 Impreza sedan is supposed to get pretty decent mpg for an AWD... mid 30's hi way... My cousin just bought a used one... looks nice with sunroof and all... and did I mention Subaru AWD?

Subaru AWD vs competition
