The ECU will only throw a code if you do not install the O2 fix with the test pipe. I know the T1R pipe comes with the O2 fix, I don't know about any other brands.

My CEL was not due to the test pipe since I have the O2 fix with my pipe. My CEL is from the barometric pressure sensor throwing a code due to the additional boost. I had it scanned and that was the code for my CEL.
