I have to yank my CAI before the 28th, somebody is coming up to collect the testpipe, header & CAI as a set on that day.

If the new couplers for the SRI don't arrive before then I will have to throw in the stock box for a while. Is pretty straight forward, I can do it in my new garage

That you can!

The 28th, 29th won't work man , I am finishing a clutch install on the 28th and Jon and I are doing Stage 3 weight reduction mods on my Project Red Flag!

The weekend after that should work though.

Works out well, the weekend of the 28th might be a bit tight for me anyway.

Stage 3 weight reductions! hehe, sounds like you are upgrading your car with magic points What is the technical meaning for stage 3?

Project Red Flag eh! Sounds cool, do you have a symbol in mind? Maybe blood red flag with a black skull & bones? I could throw together something in photoshop for your sig if you want

lets see what the internet has to offer;

We should do the bottom middle one and have the car parked sideways in the background with the helmet on the roof

Stage 3 means no more a/c, carpeting, glove box, passenger side airbag and sound deadening.

Hmmm, I started getting a brief engine stutter every so often when I am putting along at a steady speed. Any idea what is up?

No, lights on the dash. Just a breif stutter, it happened this morning again on my way to work when I was accelerating. Maybe because I can hear the exhuast more I am just able to pick up more clearly whenever I have a missfire?

is it always at a specific rpm when accelerating, is it gear specific?

I think it just might be running too rich in one specific point and it stutters a bit?

Usually happens when I am holding a steady speed with light throttle on the highway. I would say around 2500rpms

you probably just have a hole in your map somewhere.. have you tried to trace and tweak your map yet? It's pretty simple to make minor adjustments.. I've got mine pretty smooth now, i just can't figure out my rich idle.

Not yet, I have been crazy busy trying to get everything sorted out with my move.

I will see if I can plug in a play with it later this week when I get a chance.

wow, well I don't feel so bad now that I'm not the only one with issues...

Wonder why you'd get belt squeal? you think its from your pulley? where's the rattle coming from?

This is in addition to the squeaky suspension & brakes

I think the rattle is the heat shield above the B-pipe, when the fan kicks in for a few seconds and the RPM's drop it starts rattling really obnoxiously for a few seconds.

The squeak initially started up when the pulley for the alternator was installed. Most people never notice it, only me... but recently it has been getting louder.

I have a big plan of attack to fix things once it warms up a bit. I have to put my stock air filter back in tomorrow because the pipe couplers for my new intake have never arrived and I need to pull my Fujita out.

The list goes on and on, stupid car

Any idea where I might be able to find the couplers I need for my intake? What are they, like plumbing connectors?

you can find the couplers you need at mopac and if you need any t bolts I recommend princess auto.

With that said there should be no cost from your end since Weapon R screwed up not you...

Finally got the couplers today, unfortunately they somehow still sent me one the wrong size

I made it work, I used the stock Honda throttle body rubber insert which fit snuggly into the over-sized coupler. They also forgot to put in a grommet the correct size, so I reused the Honda one.

Anyway, works well enough. I didn't really notice any difference between that one and stock to be honest. It still feels boggy off the line, the Fujita I think still has the ultimate advantage and gave better gains in the upper end.
