Going down to take the Fit out for the first time in over a month. Hopefully no flats or run down batteries.

So I think next spring I am going to pull the manifold and computer system from the Fit.

I will have the manifold pulled off and looked at very carefully by some of the top men.

Yes Top Men will look at it, Top Men

Hey checkout the WR's newest "no-CEL" design... nothing in the middle, but two connecting channels I don't understand...

Very similar to my intake manifold (Italian Jazz)...

There isn't any hole... passages are inside head (maybe egr housing is different too...)

Tell them to send you this new one since the other one they promised without a cel didn't work and clearly didn't make power...

No idea, the port is between the runners in the center, unless it somehow picks up the port with that channel... but then where does it vent and hook into the hose?

I am going to have to have a close look at the stock manifold, from what I remember this does not match at all

this design matches the jdm version intake manifold. the usdm mani looks so much differant. hmmm.... looks like weapon r messed up again.

yeah i just checked the manifold flange and it looks way differant than what they have designed.

Yeah I don't know what is going on, I thought the JDM version didn't even have an EGR port there. The pre-production model I got from WR didn't have anything on the face... the second rev2 version has a port in the center which was drilled in.

the jdm version has these machined passages in the oem flange. i think that have not figured out the usdm fit yet. what if you just drilled out the hole on your flange and put in a bigger nipple to try and eliminate low egr CEL?

I was thinking about something like that, it is a long slotted hole. I was thinking about matching it and welding on some kind of collector tube with a cap and then hooking the EGR hose into that.

why dont you? its obvious that the egr valve is just not getting enough pressure if its throwing a low code.

Hey check out what Leo just posted at the end of this thread... this explains all the trouble I have been having. The stock manifold is re-feeding the EGR gases back into the runners, I think everybody overlooked that. I always though it just fed back into the car.

I think I can drill some holes into the side of the runners where the bevel is and then just get two splitters and run the EGR gases out that way. That or copy the flange dremel. What do you guys think?

it looks like a job for a machine shop unless you have access to a vertical mill.

just send it in again for the 100th time and have them replace it.
