Took the GD to autocross yesterday and tried out the Avanti Storms with R comps. Was EXTREMELY surprised with the amount of grip which took a little bit to get used to, even with a reverse tire stagger. Came 30th out 56 raw time (didn't look at PAX). Our autocross club currently has a couple of months off for summer to avoid this south Texas heat and humidity. During that time I should do a couple of revisions to the GD's front suspension, alignment, and change spring rates both front and rear.

Here's a pic from our photographer David Leung during yesterday's event.

Love those wheels! I'd like to get them in black eventually. Right now I'm refinishing integra LS mesh wheels, got the new tires put on yesterday (Toyo Proxes T1R 195/45R15). Been busy!

Thanks! I've always had a soft spot for the LS meshies. They look absolutely amazing when completely polished.

I considered that but these have a little too much rash on one to fix easily.

...Winter is Coming...

In like 5 months but I couldn't ignore a smoking deal on a winter wheel setup. The center caps are really going to screw with people who already can't figure out what kind of car this is.

Nope but going to update and probably make a new thread with the kit off the car. Maybe people don't realize what they are getting.

It could be. The kit you are offering defines the term bolt on turbo kit. almost to the point to where they could possibly go without a tune for some time.

I'd probably still do a tune because it's flashpro and not the emanage it game with. With the default tune. I do have 2 tunes saved on my computer. 1 is normal and the other was for emissions to tune the post O2, and egr on.

Good luck selling the turbo kit Previc, it really is a great deal. Wish I had the money for it!

I did my first ever caliper switch over last night.

And got some skunk2 goodies for my dirty engine bay. Time to learn how to clean!

Interesting. Are those Wildwoods on the stock 10.6 inch rotors or larger ones?

Yes, stock 10.32" sized rotors. Yup they bolt right on and are about half the weight of the stock caliper and are not ridiculously expensive either. Wilwood DPHA is the name.
