Unless the stick shift axles are different than the auto axles that doesn't make sense. Call the North American Honda help line and have them confirm this info.
The driveshaft recalls apply to both automatic and manual cars. However because they used different driveshafts most dealership don't have axles for the stick Fits yet
Unless I'm missing something on College Hills Honda parts website, Honda only makes two axles for the Fit- a left and a right axle- not automatic and stick shift axles.

Sounds like that site is missing the manual axles then! The manual and automatic transmissions have different CV axles. I literally had the axles removed from my Fit and they aren't the same as the automatic Fits. If you still don't believe me check Rockauto too -- they differentiate manual and automatic axles
Regarding the axle recall, last week I took mine in to a local dealer for an oil and filter service. I told them about the recall letter and they replaced the axles. They said they had the parts..

Might be interesting to know your city and state, or the name of the "local dealer," but if that info is confidential, don't sweat it.

Sure thing. Ron Bouchard Honda in Lancaster, MA.
The interesting thing was that I had gone simply for routine maintenance, and mentioned to the rep that I'd received the letter regarding axle replacement from Honda. They took it upon themselves to change them, and I was pleasantly surprised.
I had been told previously by another shop
that they showed rust and needed to be replaced.
My left broke August 2019. Yes, I have a case open with Honda for reimbursement. My shop only charged me $280 for the repair. There was a $76 towing cost also. I do plan to submit both receipts once I get them scanned but I don't know if they will cover the towing.
I gotta get the car in to replace the right one soon.

$280 for parts and labor sounds reasonable. About the equivalent of one really good bottle of añejo.
Why are they replacing the right one? Did they inspect it and find a problem? Or is the recall for replacing both no matter what? What city are you in (if you don't mind saying)?

That left drive shaft broke back Aug 2019. Yea I can see by this thread that was quite a reasonable price. Ann Arbor Muffler in Ann Arbor MI. No one's inspected the right one. I will get it replaced at the dealer under the recall. Honda says they should have the replacement parts available now.
My daughter is actually driving it now as I bought a new Fit, 2020. She needed a car so I used that as an excuse to buy me a new one.

Yeah from what I see on this thread, $280 is a deal on this repair. Ann Arbor Muffler, Ann Arbor Mi. After reviewing the recall notice, I guess the right one needs to be inspected for "deformities within 40mm of the dynamic damper". With the amount of winter driving I did with this car, it will be quite a surprise if it didn't require replacement. FWIW the guy at Honda tells me most dealers should have the parts by now.

They are required to perform the work. Try bringing your car in and asking them not to address an item that is under recall. "Don't touch my axles. Just change my oil and filter." All of the sudden, it's not your car anymore.
I received the second letter but haven't scheduled the service yet. I have one shaft that looks bad, but the other looks perfect so I expect just one will be replaced. Overall, the car looks pretty good rust-wise for an '09 driven in Ohio.
I had mine snap , and replaced both .I have my case open , I still need to get mine inspected by a Honda dealer before I get my money back. Still waiting to hear from them .
I got both my drive shafts replaced under the recall today. Between that work and my state inspection, it took three hours. On a positive note, they said my car is in great condition
