What did you do to your GE fit today?
after 3 years of lurking around the boards and waiting to pull the trigger...
1. K&N cold air intake
2. HKS Hi-Power Exhaust
3. Motegi MR125 (satin black) 17x7.5 w/ Toyo Proxies(summer) 205/40s
4. JDM Shift Knob
5. Jazz badge
6. tints
7. detailed the interior
And if it wasn't pouring rain, I would have some pics.
I wonder what i'll do tomorrow...

Base Fit, Taffeta white w 1,200 miles:
Installed Progress 19 mm rear sway bar. Got the right bar this time, & it was way easier the 2nd time!
Painted lower rear diffuser satin black (Plasticoat) while car was up on ramps - hardest part was determining where to tape for cutoff & getting the tape on with a straight line, especially where it curves. Didn't get it perfect, but I may be the only one who ever notices.

Were you able to get the oxidation off of the door bumper trim? I've had a tough time with that.
I actually removed them. They came on the car and I don't care for them. Mess up the smooth body lines IMO.
How did you remove them? Dental floss? Then polish?
I used paint thiner on them and let it sit for a min to get the glue holding them soft. Then I pulled them off. Put an edge on a razor blade and used that with thinner as a lubricant to remove the rest of the glue ( I wouldn't recommend that, I have been detailing professionally for a long time) just use your finger on whatever didn't come off. Then use thiner to remove the dirt and lines. Couldn't tell they were there. I buffed the area but only because I was buffing anyway. Looked good without it. I'm sure goo be gone or something like that might be safer if your not sure what your doing.
Did they suggest any other service?
Tinted a few days ago...20% back 5, 35% front 4, washed today and took some new pics. Clay and Wax Tommorow.
Plasti Dip holding up great on all 4 wheels + the front and rear bumper.
The wheels look like crap in here due to bad lighting and crappy camera..the bottom pic is a good pic of them from a good camera when I painted them

I heard servicing performed at dealerships shows up on Carfax but I don't know if that's true. The total was $65 with a 10% student discount. It was a pretty pleasant experience and they also inspected some of the damage my roommate cause when he backed into my front bumper.
I didn't really shop around because the next nearest dealership was 20 miles away.
Why plastic? I imagine it might be much more easily punctured by a rock or such. Go for steel - mine have been on for close to 3 years now.
