Conclusion: The Fit does not make the best get-away
vehicle in stock form.
Stick to the city back-alleys and you'll be fine.

Yeah man. Thanks for the DIY. Worked great and went very very quickly.
I haven't encountered a speed trap to test it out on yet.
Never thought I would be looking forward to finding one...

Slammed the Fit with TEIN Street Basis coilovers today. I'm loving the ride quality a lot, better than my old T1R S-Coils and OEM strut combo!

Warranties are a finicky issue.

Legally they're only allowed to void it, if your aftermarket part caused the issue. The problem... dealers will attempt to blame your part often enough. Some springs are more accepted than others.

As for the rims... are you talking about the TPMS? That indicates whether you have low air pressure in the tire. Some wheels aren't compatible with them. Or, are you talking the odometer? Where the overall size of the tire can change how quickly or slowly the odometer counts the miles (accuracy).

Yea man can't wait to see those mad tyte pics yo, what could possibly be more exciting than ANOTHER slammed fit. Yea! And then we could all meet up together with our slammed fits and everybody would look at us and be like 'those guys are srs bsns with their slammed fits, I can tell that they are very serious auto ethusiasts by the small distance from their skirts to the ground and their automotive expertise is evidenced by the extension of their wheel lips outside the horizontal plane of the body.'

Some people like to drive a "slammed" Fit, and some just like to have a Fit with a blown engine.

To each their own.... I guess.

who shit in your corn flakes this morning Lyon? the significance of my post isn't that i want to see ANOTHER slammed fit - but see inkster's fit lowered on r90's...which no one else has. what's the need for your condescending attitude?

Being low to the ground with a stiff suspension is one component of a sports car; unfortunately, many seem to lose their way with this particular mod and seem to think the number of inches off the ground and visual effect is the only worthy merit of this mod.

The Fit is a good platform... but if I want a true sports platform then I'm going to jump into the F430.
