What did you do to your GE fit today?
Sucks to see this happen Jamy, it seems like a lot of people on the forum have totaled/sold their Fits lately. It's like I don't know anyone here any more lol.
I don't even know what I would do if my Fit got totaled, all that work gone to waste. That Camaro driver sounded like a dumbass, rather than taking the left and rerouting, he tried to take the more convenient route. Was it a newer model? Those things have like zero visibility in the first place.
Good luck with the new car.

Personally, I would not get a CR-Z. Maybe from a performance standpoint, they can be better than the Fit, but then any stock, remotely performance oriented vehicle will be way faster. They don't look that great either imo. MPG is the only reason I can see getting one, and even then, it has no damn cargo space, or room for other people. For that kind of money, you could get a lot on the used market, and the money you save would probably not be drained by fuel costs like most people assume, but then again, I don't know how much you drive.

Thanks for all the support guys. It really means a lot. I have no plans to leave the Fitfreak community for good. I'll probably just hide in the shadows until somebody does something super epic

As mentioned before I do have the stock suspension with about 25k miles on it if anyone is looking for stock parts. As well as the stock exhaust with about 18k on it. And a pair of non-retrofitted headlights with the grey trim painted black.
Honestly... thought about that too when I first saw the pix... but wasn't the right time...
Maybe now...
I like the look of the CRZ. The vehicle isn't really a performance vehicle, but I'm not really looking for that. If I wanted performance I'd just get an Si and call it a day. I do a lot of city driving during the week and on the weekends i'm usually making 100 mile - 400 mile round trips to go home so the fuel efficiency would be very nice. For a two seater is has waaaay more cargo space than my friends 350z. Especially when you fold down that rear divider and I'm not the type of person to tow around a bunch of people in my car. I had the back seats of my fit out more than I had them in. Used vehicles typically have higher interest rates and my parents dont want me to have any surprise issues. At least with a new car if there is an issue I can take it to the dealer, they give me a loaner or a rental and that is that. I can understand where you are coming from, but for me the CRZ works and works well.
Oh no. I'll be here for a long time. You guys are like car family
Lol I would but it literally goes against every fiber in my body. I hate asking people for help and what not. The only reason I'm letting my parent help me is because its the middle of the school semester and I cant work full time to get cash built up quickly. If it was late may or june i'd be fine. I'm going to probably just rock another Honda for now and then do something else later when I have more $$.
Check out fuelly for some real world stats on the mpg for the CR-Z
