That kind of puzzled me a bit because I was always under the impression that the oil in newer cars should be changed every 5,000 miles.

Either way, I still got her oil changed.
It's actually quite the opposite. With newer cars and modern engine oils, you can go much LONGER between oil changes as compared with older cars. Makes sense right? Why would they make engines and oil that require MORE maintenance than they used to? I just changed my oil at 75,000 mi and used Mobil 1 full synthetic. I'll probably go 10k miles before I change it. Depending on driving conditions/habits, modern oil (especially synthetic) should be fine for 6k-10k miles.

Pretty nice wheels tho. Didn't know you went red on the new fit, sick of white?

They actually stick out about a foot.

White had to be factory ordered due to a super short supply. Red was 300 miles away and was my second choice. I may wrap it orange or yellow, however.

I don't know...I mean, the wheels look great and all, but I think they're a little too small...

I never saw the point of colored carbon fiber vinyl. It just makes whatever part you put it on look like a painted wicker basket. Got that hobby lobby sponsorship

Make it look good Blue. I like the wheel choice for sure. Oh and put some tint on that thing please.

Found out the track I'm going to requires tow hooks for HPDE, so I ordered some from eBay.

Why not just use the stock one? Because they're f**cking ugly. Ordering hawks pad next week also.

I got all my seat covers back on... except two of the headrests (they actually on, but inside-out). They were still wet from the wash. I air dried the whole set, but it turns out the two headrests and the back cover of the bigger rear bench is still wet. (=.="). I put the back cover on even though it's a little wet, since the it's not pressing into the seat, any remaining dampness won't soak into the seat. Hum... maybe I should take it off to allow it to finish air drying... since that closed area might induce mold.

Found out I ripped one seat cover slightly (where a strap is sewn onto the cover)... and found one of the snap buckles is broken (the "female" part). Dunno what to do with that one... hum.

Oh... and I got an infraction warning from this forum. yippee.
