Installed Accord horn while I had it a part installed mesh in the lower grille. Also did front plate relocate. Horn is a lot better.

Ken,

Is this because you are moving the TPMS to new wheels/tires? if not, how do you plan on dealing with the inability to disable VSA? (Assuming this is for the '12)

This is EXACTLY why I did this. I had to unlock the door for my daughter and it was annoying.

You're welcome. I was glad I found it skimming through the manual. Never thought I would find anything useful in there I didn't already know about Honda's

What is DRL? Day Running Lights? I am still new to this car as mine isn't even a week old yet. Trying to see what things I can do to it lol

yep, daytime running lights. i don't like the amber look so i yanked out the #15 fuse. when i pulled the fuse door down and looked up into the fuses wow it first confused the hell out of me. i didnt know what i was looking at vs the diagram on the kick panel. i brought a flash light and took a GOOD look and after a while it started to make sense to me. hahaha. usually the fuse door has the diagram on the back side on most cars and easy to read, but not on the GE.

Wired up my Aftermarket HU and ASW steering wheel control. However it wont auto detect and i can't seem to get it to program. Grey/red into pin 16. I put ground onto chassis instead of pin 5...do i need to ground into pin on harness? seems odd, ground is ground. i think the fit install manual said i could ground to chasis. However all the ASW does is flash steadily. when i press reset for 10 seconds, it just flashes the whole time.

Yep did the same thing first week I got the Fit^^^^Lots of time on the "thrown" reading my manual.

I also got my Honda alarm to beep on the first press instead of having to hit the button twice.

That was a second visit to the dealer. No idea how to DIY.

Thanks I love the braking on the car even more now. Next on the list is suspension and that should hold me for a little while.

Free Shipping Weekend
O.K...What's the trick to get the free shipping? I followed the link provided, read the rules (no agreement box to check), found some items I wanted/needed, proceeded to checkout, created an account, proceeded to pay and BOOM...a shipping charge was added automatically. There was no option to delete/erase this either.
Anxiously awaiting your response. THANKS!

I think there are a few items that still have mandatory shipping charges. That said, I found that when I got to the final billing page, the shipping charges were zeroed out.

Well that sucks. I ordered the same way, but when checking out there was a drop down box for shipping and one of the options was "Free Shipping" If I were you, I would definitely call their customer service on Monday and explain what happened. Ask them to drop the shipping charges. Let them know you are a forum member too because they have a lot of customers from our group that they should want to keep happy.

Yea, as stated on the first page about the free shipping weekend, items such as body kits still have mandatory shipping, however the items I'm ordering are minor and do not fall into the "heavy/bulky" catagory.
You say "the final billing page", is there another page AFTER where you enter billing information, shipping/address method, and payment method? It looks to me, by clicking the "place order" button, that's it...your credit card is charged. I guess what I'm looking for is a "confirm order" page to actually finalize the order. THANKS!!!

Thanks malraux And Rampo for your help. I went ahead and clicked the "place order" button and unfortunately my order was processed immediately without any "confirm order". The shipping charge was indeed added. No drop down boxes, no other way to change shipping options from the default UPS Ground. I'll call them first thing in the morning and explain what happened; I'm sure they'll make good on thier promotion and debit my credit card the shipping charge. As you said Rampo, I'll let them know I'm on this forum however, I'm not expecting any problems.
Thanks again to both you guys!

BTW, I ordered a set of wheel locks, touch-up paint, and clips for the inside rear hatch which I broke installing the LED "H" emblem.

Finished up installing my aftermarket HU. its a touchscreen. Even with the stock speakers, it sounds waaaaay better than before. It has timing alignment, 24bit DAC..etc. i found out those speakers can handle some midbass pretty well, shame Honda's HU cuts the lows and highs as you crank the volume.
However i forgot to hook up/bypass the parking wire so i can't watch any videos, not really in the mood to pull it back out today. No info on where to connect the speed wire but i guess it didn't spoil me having it from before either.
Had to coil up my RCA's and stuff them above the steering shaft for now until i get around to replacing the speakers and getting an amp.
I also added interior cold cathode lighting. it beats to the music but i stuffed it up under the passenger side dash so it dimly lights up the floor board, otherwise its way too bright and tacky. It's connected to a toggle switch i mounted in the switch tray area. I need to get another to match for the driver area. I also plan to get a couple matching color LED's inside the speaker grill in the doors to accentuate the speakers once i get them replaced.

wish i took a pic of the wiring i had goin on, it was a mess. For starters i added a ground and ignition turn on junction blocks ...so i could easily add in future accessories or anything i may need to turn on with ignition without having to pull the HU out or tap into OEM wires/fuse panel. tapped in a toggle switch for the interior lights, i plan to do more in the future...something subtle. I also got the Sirius XM module, so had the wires for that and the Steering Wheel Controller, 6 silver plated RCA's for future amp, Microphone for hands free calling ...yeah, it was a spaghetti ball in there. There were a couple of oddball wires on the aftermarket, like 2 dimmer switches for some reason. Never found out what the second wire on the factory Antenna lead does, the adapter has it wired out as booster/amplifier/power antenna...but no where to hook it to, but seems to pick up stations ok...i assume its amplified antenna booster. I noticed many pins on the factory harness that are not used by the aftermarket adapter...makes me wonder what those are/were.

used 3M scotchlocks for connections....man those things are really nice, quick and easy way to splice wires. I also used contact grease on all connections to reduce resistance and prevent gap arcing which leads to corrosion.
