What did you do to your GE fit today?

I made the DIY Intake!

Ran into a problem with what seemed to be the orientation of the MAF sensor. Seems to work fine now. 3rd gear feels super tasty.

Installed a Tanabe Concept G axle back today. Waiting on my T1R B-Pipe to arrive. How do I post pics, it says I may not post attachments at this time? Do I need to post a certain number of times before I can upload pics?
Received the TWM Bronzoil shifter bushings in the mail yesterday. Arrived home after work and installed them. I took a gamble sort of as they don't list the GE Fit exactly, says 2007-2009. The smaller of the two, well it doesn't fit snugly inside the cable ring whatsoever and the ring had too much play around the bushing. The GE stock bushing sits flush with the cable ring, how it should be. So what I did was take some rubberized tape and wrapped it tightly around the bushing twice and then the ring fit snugly on the bushing. The larger one, was actually a little too large to fit inside the ring. Altered that with some Dremel action to the ring and a bit to the bushing itself until it fit perfectly inside with zero movement.
I can't say if what I received was the proper ones or not from TWM, as the package listed just the DC5 and EP3. It is quite possible that it is the same thing for the GD. Also to be completely honest, I can't say for certain if the shifts feel any better or different, but really that has more to do with the 3 solid engine/tranny mounts and the brass bushings already installed in the Mugen shifter housing. Solid is better regardless, at least for how I like communicative feedback from the car.
I can't say I recommend the TWM bushings if what I received is what is offered for the Fit, then again, as stated the GE is not listed on their site for bushings. I was thinking about sending them my stock ones as a go by for possible GE replacements if they would be at all interested.

Just came home from a 200 mile trip with my Fit. MY ASS HURTS! Going 70 mph on freeway in the Fit for almost 200 miles will make your butt hurt. Very bad ass support. However, I still love the car despite this bad seat and not-so-impressive gas mileage. I averaged (about) 35mpg on the freeway @ 70 to 75 mph. In my experience, my Fit gets the best gas mileage, around 40 mpg, when going 55 to 65mph.
How do u like that air freshner? I keep seeing it everywhere but haven't convinced myself to get It yet
It smells awesome! Squash is a really hard scent to describe but I would say it's almost like a citrus bubble gum mix. The actual cs-x3 box is nothing fancy other than it fits PERFECTLY in the spot in front of the center cup holders. I got the cs-x3 box with refill and then an extra refill for about $16 on eBay. I can find the seller if you want.
After reading in the NY Times a week or two back about wheels being stolen more often - lead picture was a Fit up on cinder blocks - bought locking lug nuts, and threw on Honda valve stem caps. Swear the car goes faster now...just kidding. Waiting on delivery of Clazzio seat covers - will include pics after installation.
This. Apparently no one has parts to trade, either.
So instead of buying or installing new parts, I plasti-dipped my front emblem. Pretty sure it's helping me get around 45 mpg now.

I think the prices include the next thing, so take $40 away from the $130 filters, and $130 from the $250 rotation. But still $120 for 20 bolts and some extra "inspections" was laughable.
Very expensive. I don't know if this is against the rules or not but, which dealership are you using?

If you have a Daiso near you, they have the cheaper sheldan-style squash flavor. It's similar to the smell of the air spencer squash but it has abit hint of rubbing alcohol.
Call up a few import dealership in your area to see if they got 'em in stock. My Nissan dealership has 'em for $15. Talked them down to $9 a piece. My mom's, dad's, and sister's car has 'em. It has a very sweet, pink-bubblegum and cotton candy flavor to it.

Where do you get take $40 away the $130?? It looks like to me that page is telling you $250 for tire rotation PLUS $130 for the new filters installed. So f'in $380 for whatever little cost of the filters plus what would take maybe 30 min to do in your own garage. Outrageous! But I guess dumb people who have no clue how to take care of their car pay that...
Don't know what you mean
