What did you do to your GE fit today?
I did a DIY rear cargo cover. It's sagging right now so I'll probably redo it with cardboard reinforced styrofoam, somewhat like this: 36"x48" Foam Tri-Fold Display Board | Science Fair Display Boards Sorry it got dark, so the cellphone pics are crappier than usual. The side, there's about half a centimeter gap in some areas, so the cut wasn't absolutely perfect. I'd give it a 4/10 fit. This is with the seats reclined all the way back.

First picture shows how she looks like. 25lbs of rice for $10, great deal.
2nd and 3rd picture shows the clearance on both sides. Not perfect, but good enough.
4th picture you can see the sagging in the middle. If she wasn't sagging, the hatch can easily close without the cover getting in the way.

I put on curved blind-spot mirrors. I'm a total convert; much safer! And the Honda rear bumper applique. I bought my car on the weekend and the parts department was closed and, hey, I like doing this stuff so they just sent it to me afterwards. I probably took more care than any employee
Oh and we went to Ikea, bought a big dresser and dining room table (flat packed of course), plus a Target load of junk etc; about 300lbs of stuff total in an inconvenient shape. No problem getting it all in; one person had to sit in back though. And got 35 mpg getting it all home, too, hehe. I can't really make any complaints on that basis can I?

If you ever decide to redo it, you could try slotting some vents into the cover itself (angled away from the hatch).

Oh well. Time wasted on this is time supposedly spent watching TV or other unproductive things. Damn I need a job.I love those things. I know it's not safe to solely rely on mirrors when backing up, but I do so most of the time.
that Noblesse kit is nice!
I don't think I'd use these when backing up - I think the regular mirrors would do better. But maybe it's just practice needed. Luckily these only cover a very small portion of the side mirrors so they don't eliminate the standard use. Ford actually molds them into their mirror glass (in the corner) on their new cars. One of the many little touches that shows Ford does some thinking about what's useful to the customer ...

There a bunch on carview. This car isn't all that modified compared to a lot of the cars I've seen, but I just though it was amusing. Could be really cool with some different wheels and tails. I DO like lambo doors, and can't really say why.
I love just about everything related to cars, even though I'm more of a driver/performance type. Maybe after over 15 years of being this involved in the hobby, I'm bored with the regular stuff.

^^^Thanks...
Always loved the GE8 Noblesse kit since I first saw it yeeears ago. Been dreaming of a Noblesse Sport front kit w/ a Noblesse VIP rear kit, but way too much $$$$$ & work needed. (Might just do the Noblesse VIP tails mod only to match the splashes of VIP already on the car)

Whoring my pics...
Door sills from Zetaproducts. Debated on these or the OEM Honda ones. I think they are very good for much cheaper than OEM.
Came nicely packaged in a cardboard tube.

Some closeups. The metal/stainless steel portion is like glued or something to the plastic. When I opened it, one side was slightly sticking up. I just pushed it back down and it was fine.

I thought it would come with some type of template, but it didn't.

This is where I put it.

You can see how I lined it up where the interior plastic edge was...and a little to the side of that. You can basically do what you want here BUT make sure you kinda stick it under the weather stripping.

Here's the little retarded one in the rear. :P I just put it in the center of where the "edge/crease" is. I did it by eye. Good enough.

Debadged the FIT emblem. Was pretty easy since the car was new.

Thought sticky stuff would be an issue, but again, since the car was so new, it basically rolled off when I rubbed it.

Now I can tell the ladies I still drive an M3.

Last drive of my car before it went to it's new owner.

Yep, theres also the charge harness. pain in the ass really. I'm really not too good with wiring, which I will leave to the more experience guy here at work. Anyways work finally picked up today. So no working on my k harness.
