There has been record high temps in Nashville, but I still managed to get this done.

Thanks to jnessleroad for the write up. I have to say, it was a bitch getting all of the rivets out and everything put back together with screws and washers. This is the rear driver's side door and you can see two indentations where the screw began poking through the panel. I got the hang of it by the third door! The driver's side door has actual holes in the panel, lol, so I bought some black epoxy to patch them up. I was a dumbass on the first door. The fabric is also probably the worst on the driver door. At the top where the window meets the sill, I cut the fabric too close and if you look closely you can see it's not tucked in areas. I'm going to try to take the panel off again and stretch the fabric under the sill cover or whatever it is. If that doesn't work, I'll just buy some more fabric - I was thinking about buying some for my headliner anyway. You can also see the lowe's screw cap mod here - credit hayden.

I also began working on installing the weapon R down pipe and cat delete. Got the secondary cat removed and the non fouler mod in place on the new pipe with the O2 sensor in place. I would not recommend doing this in 100+ degree heat! Definitely makes the job that much tougher.

Are red seats going to be going into your Fit tf09? That panel looks really nice.

Thanks, 555. You know we're all just playing catch up to you.

I WANT the red low max gias II, but definitely won't settle for fakes. And at that price point the real deal is at, I'm not sure how soon that will come seeing as I'm currently saving for an engagement ring. So, I'm still undecided between the black pvc covers with red stitching now vs saving for ultimately what I really want.

You know you could always just tell the gf/fiance that her bottom side will feel much better in a Gias than a ring will feel on her finger. haha

Got the Swifts put on. Had no interest in doing it myself this summer.

Was done at a local track, so I got to watch some motorcycles race around too.

So far the springs feel great. Surprised the ride quality is so good. Very stock-like. Only took a few hard turns, and I can already tell that my tires made a bigger improvement overall. Less wobbly on the highway with strong cross winds. That is one of the main things I was hoping for.

Lookin good! I was so close to doing red, but I was worried about the Florida sun bleaching them. Can't wait to see the headliner!

Finally off. Ended up hack sawing off one of the nuts where the primary cat meets the head.

Yeah, I hear you on the red. I am working out a deal with the seller to get a headliner piece cut. So hopefully it all works out.

It's quite a heavy combo isn't it? Compared with what you are replacing with. You should of placed the down-pipe the other way around in the pic so as to not confuse anyone with the layout by chance. I mean obviously the flange on both ends can be seen and should be a give away as to what way the pipe sits. Curious to hear your take on the new piece and overall feel of the car. I have a feeling you will lose a bit in the bottom-end, but more than make that up in the top-end. A tune would really be a welcome addition...why oh why does Hondata ignore us?

Very heavy! I just tossed the pipes up against the wall - didn't even think about showing their actual layout. I was more so just happy they were off, haha! I plan on keeping them around in case I need it come inspection time (hopefully not), but from what I understand you can sell them to a scrap collector for good money, especially if the cat is comprised of rhodium.

Lyon experienced gains throughout the RPM range and no doubt a tune on the L15 would be more than welcomed. I'll have it on tomorrow and will report back my findings - hopefully positive!

If actual gains are made/felt throughout the range, great. I'm sure even if a small drop down-low is present, you won't really notice as the car will be scooting along that much better overall and be prepared to see your FE decrease but your HG increase.

Probably so. I'm curious to see how it performs with the stock mid-pipe and only a k&n drop-in. I can't remember if when WR tested it if everything else was stock - I need to go see if I can find their posting with the gains to refresh my memory.

I'll be adding a mid pipe next and mayyyyyybe a SRI later. Wish I could keep the oem filter box, though. I *feel* safer with it there.

I drove 600 miles, round trip, from PA down to Richmond for East Coast Honda Meet....on blown stock shocks and lowering springs. RIP my fender liners.

Bilstein PSS coming this week. I am, however, a little worried that I'll have 4x4-esque fender gaps even at the lowest setting. Same wheel and tire size specs as the B-spec cars, though and they look the business...right?

I like to drive my car, though, so I'm not looking to be slammed, I'd just like to maintain my current height, which I think I should be able to do.

here's a photo from ECHM. There were a few other Fits there, and I met a guy from Rook Industries, who was asking me what I thought of their brace, and told me about a group buy going on.

Changed the coolant to some J's Cooling Water, courtesy of Umehara-San and J's, a small early birthday gift from the past weekend. Then took a 4th of July drive over to Fuji and up to the south side station 5.

Phone screenshot of GPS position of south side station 5 and the winding road leading up to it. Think it is about 11km from the entry point to Station 5 and an elevation change of about 950m.

Obviously not snow capped like that now, just what Google has as the static image.

Make sure you wash the soil off before installing.
