Great ride, stance...not so much. I like to drive hard, not park hard anyway, but I'll have to see how I can tweak it to make things look a little better. Height adjustment and alignment scheduled for the 31st.

After I took those photos, I removed the adjustment ring on the rear springs, because it was sitting silly high. It's still a bit higher than my last setup, and it looks a little silly on my 15x7 wheels, so I will probably take out the perches soon. The front is also a little higher than on my old setup, but those are set pretty much as low as they will go.

Time to start saving for some 16-inch wheels for next spring.

Did you get the tried and true 1st-gen JDP spoiler, or the new duckbill that he's doing. I like the duckbill, but I love mine more. It looks pretty OEM in size...until you park next to a stock Fit.
That's good stuff. I'll likely go bilsteins from the start.

I got the 1st gen spoiler. Any link to pictures of yours?

When I got mine, I planned to paint the top and sides and leave the underside as unpainted, but while I was saving for paint, the CF grew on me. If the resin ever starts to yellow, crack, or fade, I'll get it done - I still think it would look nice. Since you're painting it, did you opt for the fiberglass version?

Makes sense. Let me know how the quality is before you paint it. I don't think I've seen any of John's fibreglass stuff, only the CF. I am considering the vented hood in the future, but I would definitely have it painted, so fibreglass would be the way to go.

You fellas with the Bilstein coilovers, is this a better set-up than swift springs?

Received a call last night from SuperAutobacs MinatoMirai over in Yokohama last night that part 2 of my self-given birthday gifts had arrived. So today after work will drive over and pay almost a ton of $uck (converted into ¥ first) and pick up the new piece.

Quite quick actually, was told it would take about a month, but it ended up being just 2 weeks.

You kind of answered your own question if you think about it. The springs themselves may not be as good as Tohatsu, but the damper will be much improved over the stock one.

Oh, I thought he drove it into the bay

I might if I was getting 24.1 mpg, but I know kgb doesn't care much about that and enjoys driving his car how he likes to drive it

In other news, mine got hit in the parking lot, some scratched bumper paint, no note of course

Filled it up in Castro Valley and sat in some traffic, then drove all over SF before trying to get burgers. Usually the readout is around 28...

I-Vtec SOHC stickers in black, HID 6k 4H bi-xenon headlights and HID 3k 11H fog lights.

Oh, don't forget to remove the DRL fuse to make the HID work properly. Down fall is no fog light while head light switch is in the accessory position but it works fine with headlights on the on position.

Seriously? I thought you were getting a jeep!

I put my steering wheel back in my car... Waiting for one final piece before I post pics. The one I got had a small crack in it.

That was true even BEFORE you took the DRL fuse out. Basically, that's how the fog lights are supposed to be working in the Fit.
