Tire light came on last night on the way home. I've gotta figure out what the problem is. Hopefully I didn't pick up a nail.

Also planning to remove my dealer badge and run by the dealership to pick up an Accord horn.

To mount the Accord horn in a 2012 Fit, you have to mount the horn backwards so it's still facing downward. To do this and not hit the A/C compressor with the backward horn, you'll need 2 brass washers (available from ACE hardware) to get the horn a little further away from the compressor.

Thanks got that off ebay too, they have an orange one for Acuras. Thought it would be way off color but it matches surprisingly well.

Thanks! I'll pick some up on the way home from Lowes.

Update: Cheap plastic dealer badge has been removed.

I've been thinking about getting a set of these, but keep debating on just saving up for the OEM pieces. These ones like they came out pretty well. How's the quality?

Installed hood deflector on my one day old 2012 Honda Fit Sport Polished Metal. Looks great with the deflector against the PMM paint - and hopefully will reduce bugs on windshield/hood and smaller road debris. Bought the OE version from College Honda.

Did you get a discount for recycling the dealer badge and picking up a horn?

It can be swapped, but you have to get to it. Its below the driver side head lamp.

Honestly, I'm not too sure its worth it though.

I got mine installed at delivery. It hasn't stopped anything really...But it looks sharp as hell IMO.

If you want to add something useful to your front end for protection I recommend a DIY front grill mod to protect your A/C condenser. I used a piece of galvanized steel mesh from Home Depot for like 10$. I attached it using tie-ties from the inside. It looks awesome. You can't see the tie ties at all unless you get on all fours... I left mine shiny metal but you can shoot it black if you wish.

This pic is from a DIY on this site. Easy to find. Links don't work on this site lately or else I would have posted for you.

This is what your condenser will look like in a few years without the mod. They are expensive to replace!

Quality is great, they're thick stainless. The only issue is I had to add more 3M tape because the tape is just barely as thick as the rubber surround on them, so the tape wasn't touching the actual sill to stick to it. For $35 and free shipping I can't really complain having to buy an extra $5 of tape. They fit the door jam perfectly however.

Also since they came direct from China, so they sat in customs a few days. Still, they weren't scheduled to arrive until the last week of July so I can't complain about that either.

Lookup homejoystore on ebay, that's who I bought them from. Excellent seller! They also have the LED versions everyone seems to like.

Oh yeah, the box had some awesome Engrish on it: "The Unit with Plotinum for Fine works". Perhaps customs was trying to figure out what Plotinum is, and if it would cause a nuclear detonation.

A friend and I put the Megan oe-rs axle back on this afternoon, and I'm really pleased with the sound.

Some notes though: it's awfully short, and really does seem to be made for the shorter bumper models in Asia. Slight low end loss on immediate butt dyno impression. I bet that comes back with the silencer in (which it does in fact come with, and is not mentioned on their site.)

Like I said, it looks very nice and has a nice deep tone at low rpms and is drowned out mostly by the intake at high rpms. Maybe the tucked under style is preferable, I don't know. Certainly hides it more when you are standing near the car, which is fine by me. Pics once the weather improves.

edit: Also put 5mm spacers on the rear while it was off the ground. I like the way the car feels with them on better than it did before, which makes no sense. *shrug*

edit 2: Drove around for about 30 minutes. Seems the revs do like to climb a little faster, and there is a narrow band of mid range torque that feels like it opened up a bit. We'll see how it does once the ecu adjusts after a few more cycles.
