Ah I see. Yeah, I was just trying to point out some more advantages to having a manual. I feel ya tho.

So the basic point I was making, that the auto trans has a lot more parts to it, making it heavier and typically being a much more intrusive repair, still stands right? THat's all I was saying, wasn't trying to get technical with it.

I continued my retrofit. The projectors should be finished in the next few days.

Re-reading I suppose that's what you were trying to say however I thought it came across that a manual and auto transmissions were essentially the same, just with some extra parts.

Most places, even places like AAMCO will simply replace an automatic with a rebuilt one and send the old one off for rebuilding. Unless the issue is very minor, they're simply too complex to deal with.

That's one of my main reasons for going with a manual transmission, as well.

Can't wait to see the sequel.

This is true. If your auto trans goes out, just start thinking $$$$$$$$$$$$

ded1982,

Dude! Those look sweet! I was thinking about going with cheaper car covers but that just looks nice! I may have to reconsider throwing down a few extra bills for some Clazzio covers.

Totally worth it! Mine are all PVC. Not too pricy. To me, as much as I will be in them, its a small price to pay. I would rather invest some dough in the interior first before doing anything on the outside. The memory foam padding makes the hard seats much more tolerable.

Mine are all black with a really cool light blue stitching. The only downside was that I had to wait over 4 months to get them. Now that I have them though, the wait was all just a distant memory.

You should BUY THEM!!!

^^^Wicked seat covers^^^

Very jealous! Blue stitching...wicked. Is that what it's called when you ordered it " Light Blue Stitching"?

4 months....the patience required for that my good man. Kinda cruel.

Oh nelly!

Ordered a PRM intake and a Progress Sway Bar tonight.

I swore off other mods after my ETC fiasco...but I broke down.

The wife is going to kill me.....

The sway bar she'll never know...the intake? :O)

Not sure if I like that color-matched wiper trim. Definitely different.

I do. Of course, I started a thread on it a while back which encouraged some folks to try it out. Seriously, my jaw dropped when I scrolled down. I think it makes it look cleaner (wiper delete helps), and the JDP rear is a nice touch with this combo. The black still balances out the window. Without it, it might look a little plain.

I like different haha. I'm waiting to do red emblems to break up some of the white, it's a bit too much with just the stock emblem right now. I think it looks much, much better than the black though.

I've been wanting to do this since my last Fit, but this one pulls it off much better. Without the JDP diffuser it'd look like crap to be honest.

One more:

Finally got it to a twisty road section on the edge of town after the swifts, and progress rsb. One of the best motoring experiences I've had in a long time. I could go on about it. Not sure if I can make a broad sweeping recommendation for this setup. It's just not as safe, and the limits are ridiculously high, so if you lose the rear end, it will be when you're going really fast.

Honestly though, I've not experienced anything quite like what I did tonight in a car before. Front wheel drive with a rear sway, and light weight, is bad fucking ass.

Hayden, where abouts in Texas are you? I'm interested in seeing this for myself. :P I'm intrigued by what an RSB can actually do for the driving experiance.
