It actually protects really well when loading/unloading. Just make sure you don't put wax on it while waxing your car. Nasty white residue wont come off.

Swapped out the Air filter and Cabin Air Filter for new. Found a few Acorns and other things in my air filter housing.

Multiple bonuses:
Also a Snap-on interior Panel Remover Dropped out of the engine Bay while working on swapping the filter. Looks like the last time it was in for service (replacing the cowl) they left it on the flat part of the bumper beneath the hood and it was trapped there. it didn't hurt anything so no harm/no foul. now to figure out what I need to remove before my next service at the dealer....

Also, Amazon sent me 1 case of cabin Air filters (5) instead of 1 filter... Have to e-mail and see if they want to pay to ship them back or just say forget it and keep them. Hoping for the latter.

VERY NICE RainDog

It's certainly not as plush as stock but body roll seems to have been mostly eliminated and it handles mid corner bumps and dips far better. Considering the wheelbase I'm happy with it for a daily driver, it seems firm and well damped but not overly abrupt.

I am getting a bit of rub from the left front in sharp right hand curves at speed and fast dips but it's very faint. I'll likely raise that corner about a quarter of an inch tomorrow and see if it goes away.

The wheel and tire combo, PF01's and 205/45r17 General AS-03's weighed in at 33.5lbs, the stock sports and dunlops were 34lbs even.

Looks nice Raindog. Those tires are pretty light at just 18lbs for a 17" tire. Same tire in 16" weighs 19lbs, according to Tire Racks specs. Doesn't make much sense really.

Agreed. Good choice on the suspension too. Probably can't go wrong with those Bilsteins. Hardly ever heard someone really complain about PSSs on any car unless the pss9 variety is available. Take what we can get, right?

Not that I'm trying to go moar low or anything, just gauging the hi/lo differences on the Bilsteins. I know the adjustment range is 20mm - 50mm.

Been leaning towards the Bilsteins, for a little while now. Your setup is great!

Thanks,

There are still a few threads left at the front but that's just about as low as it will go on the Bilsteins.

Went racing all weekend. Fun times.

Got a PAX position of 15 out of 56 in autoX, and had a blast on the roadcourse. Didn't want to drag, but watching the drifters was fun as always.

Picture time!

Me and friend's 4 door civic back at our campsite.

And a short video.

Can't wait for next year!

Got my oil changed. They recommended changing the cabin and engine air filters for $130, I ordered them on Amazon while I waited and saved $100.
