Nope. Not yet. And 4200k lights are just sub HID. I'm looking at xenon bulbs, so almost HID but not quite. I'm thinking a set of Sylvania ZXE bulbs, though I'm considering some PIAA's extreme's or night tech's.

I refurbished my Takero's rear spoiler carbon fiber lips by
polishing and then applying new clear coat:

The result is very nice, although I need to wait for few months
until the clear coat really hard so I can polish it again...

problem is,
I only cover about 1 feet away from the Takero's
and later turn out all the clear coat "dust particle" got stuck to the rest of the car body !!! (OVER SPRAY)

so...
I decide to polish the entire car to get rid of the over spray beside
a real detail is overdue since I never really do a real detail since
I bought this car in early 2013
(I detailed it 2 times at the dealership I use to work for, but those detailers were not doing a good job ...)...

well, I realize...
if you want it to be perfect, you better do it your self hahaha...
I had bought all the wax since few years ago,
I just had not do it since I was planning to buy a Makita orbital polisher...
but the budget for the Makita keep siphoned away for other modification...
so this time, I had just to do it by hand

so far I had gone through the second step and still 2 more step to go...
Here are the steps:
Mequiar's Mirror Glaze Ultra-Cut Compound (done)
Mothers Ultimate Wax System Pure Polish (done)

the remaining step:
Mothers Ultimate Wax System Micro-Polishing Glaze (will start in 30 minutes after lunch )

Mothers Brazilian Carnauba Wax (hopefully by midnight tonight)

Looks like I will not be able to make it to the meet tonight...

nice job BMW =) brave man to do it on the car. i know the adhesive you used it is hella strong.

today. on a recent road trip the ac wasn't blowing very cold. it was more like just cool air. i bought a can of r134 and screwed it up and overcharged. my compressor kept turning on and off every 5 or so seconds. found this video of some kid who removed extra refrigerant and i was able to get it back to normal. now the ac is running cool again and the compressor is not turning on and off.

wow, I also just bought a can of AC Pro 2 days ago...
have not put it in though cause my AC is not very cold too,
but my compressor had been doing the turning on and off every 5 seconds or so, and I thought this is because it do not have enough refrigerant...
turn out it might be the opposite...
will check the pressure tomorrow...

yes your refrigerant is low. when i overcharged it, the compressor cycling on/off was too abrupt. really more like 1 second on and off. just go slow putting the refrigerant in.

I clay barred the and re-waxed half the car. It got oh-so-gritty sitting in the dealer lot for two months waiting for the airbag recall, and I finally got around to dealing with it. Next half tomorrow. The part I did is soft as a baby's skin. No more grit, no more swirls.

I never used a clay bar before--so easy with the Mother's kit. I was always completely intimidated by the idea of it, but not any more.

I agree,
The Mother's wax system is really good,
my car's paint never looks this shiny (with Depth),
the paint looks even better compare to when the car was brand new...
I would like to try the clay bar kit someday...

Finally finish detailing it by hand few hours ago:

Your car looks so great and the mods are enviable. I especially love the wheels and rear. Keep it up!

Gregdeezey, your mods are 100% subaru style. Youd love that car based on the way you're modding the Fit.

(If you dont already have a wrx/sti hatch in your life)
