Replaced and rekeyed door lock

I replaced and rekeyed my door lock after someone broke into my car. I used a cheap Chinese door lock https://www.ebay.com/itm/316070930982 and rekeying kit https://www.ebay.com/itm/315297243120. The lock was easy to remove after removing the door panel. There's one 10mm bolt holding the lock in place that's accessible thru a hole in the sheet metal and I unclipped the rod at the outside door handle to allow the lock to swing down for better accessibility. I replaced just the diecast lock body itself and swapped in everything else to keep it as OEM as possible. Rekeying is pretty easy with the hardest part being that the lock body casting which must of had some tight or burred wafer slots and I had to use the supplied key at first when installing new wafers to get them sliding up and down before my original key could be inserted.

NAPA rotors/ drums, pads/ shoes. I like how well the are made. They have a lot less 'bite' compared to Hawk HPS 5.0 pads. I'll switch back next time.

Late on this and I'm not going to bother to post a picture due to what it is, but a week or so ago I got my cracked windshield replaced... Was super annoying now that the seasons are changing and the sun's in a different location in the sky... was blinding the crap out of me on the way home, as in I had my head down dodging the reflection in the crack across the windshield even with sunglasses on and still getting a little bit of a headache on the way home from work.

Did my yearly headlight restore, did a valve adjustment for the first time (also recently replaced all 4 coils), and I picked up a set of wheels off Facebook Marketplace for 300$

Are there cameras in the tail or something to snap pics to buy at one end? Because I don’t get how so many people go by themselves and get these good shots otherwise.

i have a goal of going to the TOD this summer.

Great pictures! Yeah, a run on the Tail of The Dragon is always a blast. I've taken my VW GTI 6-Speed on it and want to go again.

Professional photographers set up and the best spots and shoot everything that goes by, then they post the low-rez images on their websites. You pick and pay for the one you like and you get hi-rez versions viia e-mail. It works out great. As a matter of Tail protocol, try to not crowd the vehicle ahead of you. By allowing some space, everyone can get a great picture of their car or bike.

I should add too that you don't have to drive crazy to enjoy the Tail. It's patrolled too. I had a NC motorcycle cop following me, but I was barely going the speed limit at the time because a guy in a new pickup had a half dozen cars backed up behind him. Also, it you go mid-week, the traffic is a bit less than on weekends.

After seeing plenty of idiots crashing on the TOD and crossing lanes, not sure I wana go on it... Seems like a lot of idiots acting like it's a race track and ruining it.
