looks good! i have always been a bronze wheel fan.
getting new wheels is always pretty exciting. after the coilovers itll be set!
do u foresee any clearance issues with the lower offset and plump tires?
Nah, I had it loaded with the old tires leaving the tire place, at the heaviest I've had in the car in a long time and didn't hear anything. Same with steering lock, the turn into my apartment complex is quite sharp and steep and I didn't get any rubbing.
I have 2 used Right/Passenger Seats that I bought to get the OPDS sensor and weight/load cell sensor and retrofit them onto my Recaro Seat Rail,... I don't want to throw them away since they are in good condition.
So I decided to built a custom seat frame from TSLOTS (Product that normally used for Industrial Automation Project and which I represent) and also buy a new seat cover to make the seat looks even nicer and use them for my home office seats.
(I can also use them for My Son Gaming Seat )

This is great! Looks fun. I still need to find a 13 passenger seat!
Mine was a northern car with some corrosion issues. On attempting a simple spring swap I had all kinds of fun and ultimately had to junk the stock struts. They were replaced with KYB units. Every nut, bolt, and fastener attached to them gave me some grief...
First mod was a finest pleather steering wheel wrap. The steering wheel was ate up a bit and it really bothered me.

In the end I would have loved to have found a car in better shape...but it was the only one in a hundred mile radius that fit my criteria...no pun intended...and I needed it fast. The rest of the car is in far better shape. Those struts were skanky. The car drove smooth and straight and it's better still.
I also replaced a bad blower motor, and there's a passenger seat stuck in position. That's next on the agenda.
looks like ez lip foam stuff?

Yeah, it's an EZ Lip. I'm not thrilled with it since the 3M tape that it's mounted with doesn't adhere to the bumper well with the random bends. Technically, it's the EZ Lip Pro, which is $20 more and extends like 1.5" further or something like that. From what I hear, it's going to get ripped off when it starts snowing here. I might try to slap a universal front splitter on there in the spring, but the only front lip I really like is the Mugen front lip, and I don't really want to spend a ton of money on this car.
Got it aligned yesterday after ~1500 miles on new wheels/tires/springs/struts. The front toe was off a bit, which was corrected, but unfortunately the right rear toe was also out of spec, though only by 0.01.° I may try loosening the beam and seeing if there's enough play to center it up as the total toe is good. No cause for alarm.
Swapped plugs, coils, and did a valve lash adjustment on the Fit today. It's noisier than before but its to spec, so not sure why. In any event, didnt break anything, went pretty smooth.
I bought a Hyper Tough HT200 for 50 bucks so I could do my own Diagnostics and do my own TPMS Sensors hopefully too!
TPMS? That would be interesting if it works.
I've been using the Ultragauge (I forget which version. it also replaced an older UG version which I forgot) on the Fit. This is wired and mounted in the front quarter panel glass, at least, until the suction cup stopped working. I need a new suction cup... since its now dangling into the front corner cup holder.
I had also bought an OBDLink MX Bluetooth dongle to use a couple of years ago. It's pretty good and worked with my S7 then and now Note 10+. But because I had to keep pulling my phone out each time I wanted to use it, it took a back seat to the UG.
There's a newer version of the OBDLink MX, called the MX+ (I don't have this)... but in all honestly, I can't really figure out what the benefit of it over the MX aside from iOS support. Which isn't a big deal for me, but I guess I could still make use of it with my iPad. Don't get me wrong, it lists free OEM updates... but there doesn't seem to be anything specific for Honda.
Going back to TPMS... all of them can clear DTCs related to TPMS, but aside from the MX+ (which I have no direct experience with), they can't swap TPMS module IDs... which I wouldn't mind having.
Installed these last week. Been waiting for the tires on the stock rims to finally wear out. Need to lower the car when I save up some money and then I can take some better pics.
Just went and got gas and washed my Fit and I used Gas-buddy and saved 20 cents a gallon on gas and it saved me 93 cents and getting it ready to go to Maine Next month for a week during Presidents day weekend, so I can get away cause our camp is way up near the Canadian border! It is a 6.5hr drive from where I live but I love it up there!
