Swapped my stock hood with a black pearl one that I got from a junkyard in great condition. Installed the FormFit hood protector (they forgot one screw so I'm still waiting on that, aside from that love the product). Also threw on some eyelid tints from TFB designs, had to buy two sets since I messed up the install on my first try, but for 20 bucks a set it didn't hurt the wallet and I'm very happy with the look. Saw other people here talking about some eyelids appearing opaque in certain lights, this is not the case with these, at least in the gloss black version. Also, hard to notice, but I have the WeatherTech window visor on, they're much more low key than the basic Honda and Mugen visors, and they do dampen the sound of the wind when the windows are open on the freeway.
Ordered a duck bill wing for mine, should be ready in 2 weeks. If it's a high quality I'll be ordering the lip to go along with it. Going to paint it Taffeta white to match the rising sun on my roof.

Got an alignment today. ~200 lbs me remained on the driver seat while alignment was being done.
Also asked the technician to loosen bushing bolts, front and rear (they were tightened while the wheels were in the air), jiggled the car a bit on each side, then sat on the driver seat while the bolts were tightened.
I forgot to mention that I forgot to check tire pressures before the alignment. Hopefully they're still close to where I left them.
Just got new wheels and tires installed on Wednesday! XXR 521 17x7 +38, Barum Bravuris 3HM 205/45r17. Lowered 1.6" F/R on Tein S. Techs. I have to roll the front fenders and install camber bolts once they arrive, the fronts are poking by about 1 or 2 mm. It rubs on hard bumps and while cornering pretty hard. Luckily, the rears are perfect. I'm pretty happy with my setup, I'm already turning heads in traffic

Looks great! Thanks for sharing, nice to see a fresh GE8
Took off a vinyl wrap I’ve had on for about 3.5 years. I miss the original Milano Red. I didn’t do the wrap, and I was surprised how much I had to disassemble to remove it (if it comes off, I had to remove it, lol). Kudos to my wrapper. Took the opportunity to buy new trim pieces, new headlights, new clips, etc to refresh it all. Been a real treat working on the car slowly over the last couple of weeks.
Next up will compound and detail the car to get rid of some Milano pink starting to show (and hence why I had it wrapped to begin with). It’ll be regular wax and car covers from now on. Sorry but my garage is for a different car, lol.

I wish you the very best of luck saving your red. Mine died a heroic death in 2013-14, no amount of preventative maintenance was going to save it. Mine had very little clear coat on the roof and hood.
We had a 2013 Sport in the shop with it's wheels off and I just so happened to have my 2011 Sport parked in here at the same time. I was always curious what the wheels looked like on this color as to my knowledge, was never offered with these wheels. Closest thing would be Orangeburst on the 2012. Maybe somewhere down the line I'll get the '12+ Sport headlights with the black bezels with these wheels...

Well you weren’t lying. No amount of detailing could get rid of the pink roof and spoiler and hood. Shame cuz I love how I’ve set the car up and it looks great otherwise. Super low miles and great mpg, but pink.
My 2014 (canadian) Milano red Fit has more primer white spots on the hood then what's left of the Milano red! And it's just a 2014...
Everything plastic starts to look pink...
The red Fit pictured above is like new! Incredible! Wow does that look cool new!

Yeah I painted mine back in '15, I think. Went with Rallye red, and added a Japanese rising sun flag to the roof with Taffeta white. Spent about $600, did the labor ourselves.
I had a bad field coil in my AC , replaced with a whole new clutch kit.
The screw that holds the ground from the field coil to the compressor is made of butter or something , super soft, and immediately rounded out . I was never going to get it out , so cut the old one and spliced it onto the new one.
Hi everyone. This is my first post. I've had my GE8 since new in 2012. I've finally decided it's time to start doing some fun thing to it. Take a look: https://youtu.be/T9NzyFmYd2g
- removed rear seats
- constructed bed frame and backing
- installed twin mattress
- constructed awning
since the video I've also
- removed front passenger seat
- installed roof cargo basket
next steps
- suspension upgrade and lift
- mud wheels
- mud flaps
I hope you like. Enjoy!
Looks good! May I ask where you got the mattress? I've looked all over for one that would fit the space properly and that looks pretty close!
That is sick!! I was having trouble sourcing the front grill and bumper back when I had my fit, never even came across the rear bumper in my search. Nice pickup!
