Replacing my blower motor tomorrow morning with a new one, mine is getting tired.
To report back, what a pain in the hooha to replace for a big guy. Someone smaller than myself should have easily gotten this done, but I struggled. Easy enough in theory, just hard for me in practice.
Aiming to order the JDP lower lip and black surround headlights this weekend, along with the sport grille. Looking to freshen up the 'ol girl.

hell yea...gonna be sweet cant wait to see what it looks like.
i almost ordered the 12/13 sport headlights. but decided to just get new 09 sport replacements, since i was pretty sure i was going to get the clear hybrid tails. i thought it would match better, although i know the jdm rs comes in orange with black headlights and smoked tails.
I don't have the automotive/technical knowledge or ability that alot of you have, so these are my first improvements
these look good! Are they the official Honda brand ones or the "Zeta Chinese Ebay" ones? I have been eyeing the generic ones for awhile...i need to hide some scratches on my door sill i did with my key sticking out my pocket while trying to shimmy under my dash.
Discovered a blown low beam headlight on my 2010 Fit this morning.
$20 and 10 minutes to install...and I have both headlights replaced. (60% brighter than original)
The Fit is prob the easiest car I've owned to replace the headlights....easy to get to and simple.

Glued some speaker carpet to my stock plastic floor mat thing in an effort to provide some traction for my new OEM floor mats spikes.
Doesnt fit perfect...but didnt try to get it to either. Highly recommend this mod if youre tired of your drivers side floor mat slipping around.
100% gonna do this for mine. I was thinking that non-slip material for kitchen drawers, but this looks neater. Still plenty tacky to help the mats from slipping?

its not super duper velcro grippy...but its a bit more grippy than the stock carpet when rubbing the floormat spikes across both. the thin carpet they used in these cars is weird and cheap. the carpet in my old scion xa was a lot more plush, and had better working and simpler floormat clips. they would just pop into a gromet. anyways, back to the Fit, the speaker carpet is definitely way more secure than the slippery plastic crap it covered. Ill report back if i have any issues with shifting or it not sticking.
I used 3m spray adhesive btw. and to anyone that tries this...dont forget to wipe the plastic mat down good with some rubbing alcohol or something to clean it first.
