Ahh...I understand. I run just General Altimax Arctics year round....I should get another set of wheels for better winter tires.

My Fit is at 255K miles and this will prob be the last winter for it. It's been a totally excellent car...no complaints. (there are pics of it earlier in this thread at 250K miles)
The grinding...I found that if I just bump the starter first...then restart...it doesn't grind nearly as often. (I don't know why)

Congratulations on the 200,000!

I'll be doing the New Jersey to Florida trip next week. 1,040 miles each way. Will pass 150,000 miles on the return trip. Hope to get a picture, but with my luck I'll be on the Beltway in DC with tons of traffic!

152K on my 2012 Sport manual.
original front and rear brake pads.

Only maintenance had to be done. One time i topped off the refrigerant as the evaporator was freezing up. That solved the issue. Car looks new inside and outside.

Regular maintenance - replace 1 wheel bearing and had the roof antenna area repaired due to a water leak. That's all that I have done other than regular service. I've got a 2017 Mercedes Metris Cargo Van with 249,265 miles. I like to drive!

Nice! I buffed my headlight covers 18 months ago to pass inspection, now they are grazed again. You bought new ones? “Looks tricky to replace?! Just had a 200k birthday yesterday! 2009 Sport 5-sp.

Happy Birthday!

143,802 miles on my 13 sport manual. I can tell the clutch is near the end of it's life. I've had 2 stuck calipers. Replaced one fuel injector around 75,000 and all 4 at 136,000. The AC compressor clutch was replaced at 112,000.

Miles on a Fit

Thanks Brother Cannon! I’m up to 212k on my 2009 Sport. Haven’t had the same fails as you have. Original clutch even. Drive on.

339,000 miles

My 2012 Fit Sport is right at 339,000 miles currently. That's probably 80-90% highway miles. At the rate I'm going it should be at 400,000 in less than two years......will try to remember to make a post when it gets there.

I bought a 2012 Sport a week ago.... Just 22,000 miles.

I am usually at the extreme other end of the mileage spectrum, but not this time! It still smells like a new car inside.

Way to go Jewel! That’s what I like to hear. Wonder why mileage has slipped.
