Nice photos, but that dirty car with finger spots kind of spoils the photos. Would have been a lot nicer if the car was clean. Also all the photos are distorted. Is this a mid 2000s phone camera?

Beautiful pictures and the Fit is looking great.

That was nice of them! I agree, I would want it to stay in the family or go to a friend instead of the system.

Never say never to that four digit though! I'd personally go for a three digit PC if anything. If you like Delaware plates, peep my friend's project. You may or may not have heard of it.
Wow that's a cool project!! I had not seen that before but will now keep an eye out for the missing numbers. The next time the DMV does a purge I might swing by and see what they have.

Somewhat important post here.

70 years ago on September 24th, Honda Motor Company became incorporated.
10 years ago on September 23rd, the previous (and original) owner of the Fit bought it new at Scott Honda.
On Tuesday, September 25th, I have finally hit 100k miles since owning it.

I was on the way to a friend's shop in Pottstown, so I stopped in West Chester to Scott Honda to grab a quick photo.

First odometer photo I took, which was the day it was dropped off at my house.

Tuesday, marking 100k miles since the above photo. I was near Royersford, PA on 422.

Bonus photos. These were taken just days after the original owner had bought it new.

(I wish it was that clean now!)

Thanks! Going to Atlanta, Houston, and maybe somewhere else in about a week. Expect some photos!

Not sure if I'll stay in Atlanta again driving back for a halfway point. Need to figure it out soon.

FINALLY found some time to throw these on. Have had these since maybe December 2016 and on October 2018 they are on hahahah.

Driving to Dallas tomorrow from Houston and its going to rain. With no A/C in my Fit (its always been broken) it'll be nice to not have rain go inside. Been a while since I've had a car with these babies on.

Nice! We have those on our GD and they work great. Report back after your drive. Glad to see you moving forward.

Drove to Dallas, back to Houston, then Atlanta, and back home. Arrived at like 4:30 am and slept like a rock. Car didn't skip a beat.

End mileage-

Obligatory Buc-ee's stop, except this one was in Madisonville. Halfway point between Houston and Dallas.

One is not like the other. Hashtag Texas?

Made a quick stop in Alabama.

HATING Atlanta traffic. Set me back a solid two hours to an already twelve hour drive...

Got to Richmond area around two am... started feeling the crash. Luckily it was pretty cold so i just drove with no heat.

Last time it was washed, it was in Prince Edward Island. It was quite overdue for a bath.. especially after driving close to a hurricane and dealing with sporadic rain.

ALL CLEAN!

So what was the reason for going to Dallas other than racking up a lot of miles?

A friend of mine lives in Dallas. She had visited me once when I was in Houston so it was my turn to go up lol. Plus I’ve never been so it was cool to check it out

Mileage hasn't changed much since i got home. Fit sat while I drove the Miata most of the time.

For the first time since owning this thing, I have actual pedal pads now!

Gave the ol' girl some love recently, starting off with a spa day:

Then I drove it from Delaware to a magical place that is shockingly located in Christansburg, VA, back to Delaware just to get to Rochester, NY and back home the following day.

Thankfully, I did not leave with a car. It's such a dangerous place...

Here's a photo of me showing the Fit to a sales guy at Ralph Honda. Him and like three other people circled around me at the dealer hearing a little about the Fit inside.

Got home and the Fit was really dirty after driving to VA in the rain and then snow in NY. Gave it a quick wash yesterday.

Of course, odometer photos... timestamped this time. "Today" is November 16th, 2018.

Odometer is reading 498,300-something now. Getting closer!

So if you haven't known, I've been stockpiling some parts throughout my ownership. Recently, I've acquired some of the major puzzle pieces and decided come spring time, the ol' girl will probably get a post-500k mile makeover. Today, I'll be dropping off some body stuff to get painted by a friend of mine.

Here's a sneak peek. I've already posted too much in this photo. Sorry for poop quality shrug-
