^^^ Nice...keep it going.
I have also been to NS, PEI, and Newfoundland. But not with my Fit. (66 Chev.)
Have had my Sprint Throttle Cont for about 6K miles now. No engine codes at all. Really like it.
Drove to Toronto and Ottawa for the week. This meant some prep had to be done...
Snow tires!
Didn't take my usual "beginning of road trip" mileage photo, but it was around 534,800 miles...
Made it to Toronto. Proceeded to visit downtown for drinks and hangs.
Did some shopping where the locals call it "crappy tire" and got a bunch of crap from Princess Auto.
Went to the Canadian International Auto Show. As an American, it was as "international" as it gets. They even had a section of Ontario's own Radwood which I thought was neat.
Drove to Ottawa for the day to look around and visited a museum there. It was a four hour drive from Toronto, so some snacks had to be brought...
Neat lot next to Byward Market.
Random parking shots in Ottawa
Tall mountain of plowed snow in a parking lot which was solid ice by the time I took this photo
Accidentally took the scenic route (Highway 7 instead of the 401) back to Toronto:
By the time I got home, the car was covered in salt. Proceeded to wash it at the local car wash which has heated bays.
Well next time head a bit West of TO to Kitchener.
Know the Hwy 7 well. Nice drive in the summer. I was born in Ottawa. Then worked downtown there for 9 yrs before moving to Kitchener. Use to go to Jazz club in the Market.

A similar shot to yours
I will be back! Not sure when though. A lot of my Canadian friends that live outside of Toronto keep telling me to visit them and I think one lives in Kitchener.
while on 7, there were so many other places I wanted to stop at to take a photo, but most of the shoulder was covered in ice. Was not a good idea to stop haha
Not much to update here. Mileage is a little above 542k miles now.
Went to the junkyard the other day to piece together some stuff for another car, but left relatively empty handed. After giving up, I noticed a second-gen Fit. Took a peek inside and noticed clean door panels and seats.
Grabbed three of the four door panels in really good condition and the front driver's side seat. Just needs a cleaning, but no crazy scratches, heavy wear, etc.
All I have left for the Sport interior conversion is a front driver's door panel and the front passenger seat.

Wow julianacho,
You have 542K miles on your Fit! I'm in total amazement this is so inspiring and hopeful that I made the right decision on my Fit which I leased in 2013 then took the Honda loan to buy her. I was disappointed that my first new car a 1994 Saturn SW2 wagon blew her engine and transmission under 100K and I had installed several used engines and transmissions only to get just over 200K in 20 years. But that body was what I wanted as it was plastic and I have zero rust. If I could have the body of the Saturn and the mechanics of the Honda I would have the perfect car : ) The Saturn was my favorite car and now that I have straightened out the crapy seat that hurts my back in my Fit to be slightly more comfortable I'm liking her more each day. The seat in my 2013 kills my back and right leg on any trip more than 2-3 hrs. I ended up putting an inflatable lumbar bag on the seat with a support attachment and I inflate every several days. My goal is to take a luxury car seat apart with electric inflatable lumbar and connect to my cigarette lighter outlet. The seat still sucks for 5 to 10 hr driving, kills my back but the Fit is very functional and reliable.
Keep posting your finds and I am so proud of you for all that high mileage. A+ from this teacher.

Man, I need a new driver's seat.
Julian, they say that we replace all of the cells in our bodies about every seven years. What OEM is going to be left on that car after you're done? The foam dice hanging from the mirror? (Or didn't your Fit come from the factory with foam dice?)
I'm surprised (but not) that Honda of America didn't offer a tan interior Fit in the states.

Thanks Linda! Saturns are definitely underrated and underappreciated cars. Hope you find a solution to a comfier seat soon!

I'd hope the engine and transmission's internals haha.

All clean and final-ish mileage:
I just noticed that you have a keyhole for the hatch... Is that something that was available with the base model?
I noticed you have foglights on your base model did you custoize those to fit? What are they from and where can I buy some, have a fit sport and my bumpers damaged got a replacement same color but it's a base model one
Hurry up and put another 28-29k miles on the car, so you will have half a million more miles on your fit than I do on my '09 sport MT.
LOL that won't happen until *maybe* the end of the year. Key word, maybe.
