Bushings

Those are exactly the ones. I did them in a 1 car garage with jack stands. I had a shop press which helped push in and out the old and new ones. Not necessary, but super helpful. Also you need a reciprocating saw aka Sawzall, but one of the best suspension mods. Immediate response and feedback.

They don’t look super difficult definitely doable, but there’s enough there that I would consider bringing it to a shop. The biggest things are popping the ball joint and having to flush brakes for the rear axle after disconnecting the brake line. I’m gonna add them to my long term list of mods to make, maybe one day if I ever get coil overs that would be a good opportunity.

I ordered a stainless steel clutch line and the buddy club cr-z shifter. Also got a mishimoto shift knob,, weighs 12oz! I am putting in the clutchmasters stage 4 clutch with 7lb flywheel and six puck disk, and the mfactory LSD 1.5 way. I'll take pics and post impressions over the next few weeks, stay tuned...

We have other cars for that. The Fit is just the spectator car.

Not really. There is an enforced 45 mph speed limit on the salt during Speed Week. You can't just go there and drive fast.

New bolt on metal Kenstyle shifter extensions from Japan. So much easier to use the shifters while turning. Or for using different hand positions on the steering wheel.

Nice extensions, looks a bit like the lambo styling with the shapes.

What do you think of that steering wheel? I have the exact same one but not installed. It’s still wrapped up in the foam I got it in. From the parts where it’s not packaged it feel really chunky, and I don’t know if that will reduce my grip on the wheel. What are your thoughts? Should I install it?

Handkrafted is the steering wheel brand. It is so much better than the stock wheel. I love it. And the shifter extensions are also a must. The stock ones don't work well unless your hands are in one exact position. With the extensions you can pretty much shift with your hands anywhere on the wheel.

Just install it.
