Intake air temperature would read about 3-7* higher anytime I'd look. At some point, I'll try to get the stock intake reading as a comparison.

I'll give a longer review of the OBD reader once I have more time with it.
Playing with a new toy I picked up on Prime day...

I was thinking of buying one, but saw Engineering Explain do a review on the MX+ and it looked promising. Scored one for $53 on Prime day.

Though it when it came in it looked like it had been used and the packaging opened/ripped. So far been using and it works, so didn't return it but will include that in the Amazon review later.

It is kind of annoying that you have to connect to the interface each time, versus just turning the car on and driving.

Got my first real ding on the GK

Was driving into work and had heard a clunk up front. I didn't really give it any thought, but noticed when I left work that the hood had a spot on it. Looked closer and sure enough, something must have got kicked up and put a ding on my hood. Oh well, what are you gonna do for a car with almost 80k on it...

Sorry to hear that, always sucks . I understand your pain; I have a pretty annoying ding on my windshield. Depending on how bad or deep it might buff out with the right tools. Worst case, just touch up paint.

Installed my daughter's new Evenflo everystage dlx car seat in the fit. My daughter needed a new car seat and we got a good deal on prime day. I really like the ratcheting system for installation, it really makes installing it in a car simple. I always dreaded moving her last car seat.

Part of me is glad that my kids are out of the car-seat stage. The other part wonders if it was not a mixed blessing since they now sleep hunched over (head on the middle seat) on long car rides.

How much room is left for the front passenger?

We have that same seat for my son. He looks so comfy in it lol.

Fits great in the Pilot but was tight with my wife (5'6") in the front of the Fit. DId a short trip like that but wouldn't want to do a long one. My daughter was no issue as she is forward facing.

I checked the General Altimax that I had installed on 4/2017 at around 40k miles. I'm at 80,564 and they are wearing nicely. They are between 5/32 - 6/32. I might hit the 65K that they are rated for.

I'm in the process of renovating the house we're moving. I was making a trip there after work to meet a contractor and stuffed some stuff we don't need at the current house. I could have easily had more, but I'll be making lots of trips in the coming weeks so no need to push it. It's always amazing how much the car can take...

I filled up the tires yesterday while I was filling up the Odyssey's tires. All 4 were down to 30 PSI and I inflated them to 35 PSI as usual. I also filled up the spare which was down to 35 PSI! I filled up the spare to 60 PSI per the spec. It's really annoying to have to pull the spare out of the trunk to gain access to the valve.

Last tank I traveled 341.8 miles, filled up 7.374 gallons. That is 46.352 MPG! Not bad for under inflated tires. It's probably due to the cooler temperatures as fall is in full swing in my area.

I did have to laugh when I saw this article about the Honda Insight touting its MPG prowess. I do that easily and the Fit costs a lot less and is using a conventional power plant.

SO .... car seats are now a thing to me. more info on the ratchets? It sounds like youre not using the seat belts, to strap down the car seat, but instead.... some anchoring system that I am not aware of as of yet?

makes me wonder how much MORE mpg there's left on the table if you were to over inflate / add even more psi
