Yea, street racing's stupid. I was just kinda sad when Yeefit suggested the Fit wouldn't keep up with a RSX-S

i dont think they are terribly over 2800 lbs....the new si's even in sedan form are still only mid 2900's.

at any rate, don't be sad. you gotta remember that in a street race, people don't exactly announce what they have under the hood. even if the car was stock, rsx type s's run 0-60 in a little over six seconds.

the kwsc is great, but there is no way that its going to shave over 3 seconds off someones 0-60 time.

your suffering from a common misconception that if something as boost, it should be able to take anything. you know how many friends i have that are going to be like 'you are only making 130 to the wheels AFTER the supercharger?' telling someone you are boosted usually makes people anticiapte sick power, when it shouldn't. even then 130 the wheels is quite a feat compared to what we make stock.

don't worry man, the car will be fun enough for a DD.

come one guys i want some reviews!

kmdebit/2008-05-18 SC Install - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I'm too darn lazy to actually post the vids up in hurr...they're uploading now, one at a time.

Did throw a few CEL's, but I think that's cuz my header isn't as high-flow as it ought to be. Only happened after the bigger injectors went in. I still have stock cat, and Oscar explained that I might not be getting enough flow. Props to him for calling so quickly after I emailed them (and even used the wrong email).

Will update and get more vids tomorrow after I work off the hangover.

Seems that the bigger injectors could be causing the problems. i also have the injector upgrade, header, and cat-delete. I was reading up on the p0172 code and it said one of the causes is leaking injectors. so i guess it is possible that putting in the injectors caused the problem.

If the code doesn't go away i am going to take it to my local performance shop and have them go over everything just to rule out the possibility that i did something wrong.

So, if we change the header but not the cat pipe or cat back, should we not upgrade the injectors from 180cc to 205cc?

And how can I monitor the AF ratio myself? I didn't see anything like that in my ScanGauge manual.

Oscar says that if you put on a header or test pipe you must run the bigger injectors.

The A/F you will need a separate gauge. Get the AEM wideband UEGO. That is what i have. IMO i think it is imperative to monitor your A/F real time when boosting. Maybe not if you are going with the carb legal kit but once you start throwing bigger injectors to me it seems like a must.

Couple more vids uploading as I type this...check it out.
Rolling acceleration vids shot from my friend's '08 Si.
0-60 vids and driveby vids later. Had a rough start today, unfortunately not because of alcohol. Will put more stuff up as I record it.

Requests anyone?

doesn't look like the Si is accelerating at all and my guess is if it was the Fit would be even with it after the SC install including a header, the injector upgrade and a test pipe.
