The cat should make the car run richer while the test pipe should make it run leaner because of better flow and less back pressure.

The injectors we installed for Illusive are in there properly, the car drives and idles great and no fuel is leaking. They are physically taller than the stockers and the studs provided to compensate on the fuel rail are not that much longer so very few threads could be used to secure the rail on. With that said it did bolt up and is nice and snug in there so I don't see that as being a problem.

right but am i correct in saying that in closed loop you should not be running rich. the supercard should not be dumping fuel in closed loop. it is possible that one or more of the injectors is adding more fuel than what the supercard is telling it thus running rich in closed loop. from what i have read that is known as leaking injectors. not leaking out on to the manifold where you could see it but leaking internally. i've never put on injectors but i know that they are very snug in there. i do not see any fuel coming out visibly.

Edit: i am running mugen headers, T1R test pipe, T1R midpipe, and Mugen dual axleback.

Well man look at it this way if your stock injectors are 180cc and the new ones are 205cc and you're not actually using the supercard until it's little vacuum fitting tells it there is positive manifold pressure (boost) then your bigger injectors will of course make the car run richer.

Because it is such a small increase, the car can still idle fine and operate normally but if say you threw some 310cc injectors in there it would probably not want to start idle because it would be too rich.

The supercard is basically a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and will only add fuel if it sees boost.

That is why the Hondata option is so much better.

agreed but ultimately the car should NOT be throwing a CEL. all the hype how the supercard will do this and that and how there will be no problems and so far everyone using the upgraded injectors (who has posted) is having the same problem. So what gives? and yes i still love my KWSC.

Sorry not trying to sound irate but i expected this kit to live up to all the hype. If i wanted to deal with CEL's and tuning problems i would have just bought the T1R turbo. I dropped my car off at the shop so hopefully i will know more tomorrow.

ouch! But i totally understand where you are coming from man, and keep us posted after oscar gets back with you and you get it all sorted out.

the kit must be hella fun if you still love it after all this.

i really hope the hondata version is coming out for the a/t. if not, i may just end up buying the base kit and putting on an axleback.

I was very unpleasantly surprised to find that the $500.00 deposit as well as the FULL price of the kit have already been billed to my card-- which is actually not a credit card (I do not use them) but my bank account/debit card which puts my balance (duh) kind of low all the sudden. It was my understanding that the balance was not billed until the kit shipped , which the site states is not until July. This is obviously not cool and I am wondering if anyone else has had this or just me, by some mistake perhaps.

You could really screw someone's world up running that kind of charge "by mistake". Of course today is a holiday so I have to sit around and stress out about this until tomorrow, which sucks.

YEAH UMM MADD WEIRD I GOT CHARGED

05/23/08 13:32:43 KRAFTWERKS NORCO CA $ 500.00 Declined
05/23/08 13:30:17 KRAFTWERKS NORCO CA $ 500.00 Declined
05/23/08 13:29:30 KRAFTWERKS NORCO CA $ 500.00 Declined
05/23/08 13:29:27 KRAFTWERKS NORCO CA $ 2,645.50 Approved

SO IDK WHAT TO THINK.....I WILL CALL ONE KW ..WHEN I GET A CHANCE TODAY

I'm sure KW/OJR will sort it out, they are definitely very good people and super cool, but there's obviously something not straight because you actually got charged for the balance minus the $500.00. I got charged $500.00 plus another $3045.50 (not $500.00 deposit then the balance of $2645.50)-- and that's my checking account, not a credit card, so it was quite a shock, and not cool when you are sooo not expecting it. I got kids, etc., and need to know what's going on with my money at all times (like pretty much everyone else, of course). 99% chance that it will work out just fine though.

But I am still confused about the injector situation, and as usual it's just a lot of speculation.

My CC was hit for the $500.00 deposit on Friday 5/23

I also ordered the injector upgrade at the same time(Order #101081175) but didn't get charged for that yet.

While I'm waiting, I'm looking to get new spark plugs(stock unless anyone chimes in with a better suggestion) installed, a new belt, replace the old AT fluid with new, replace fuel filter(anyone got a part # for that?), and synthetic oil change when I have the SC kit installed...did I miss anything?

Might as well I suppose as my car is well over 60K miles as of this post.

I hope the inital "bugs" that some of the guys are experiencing with their M/T kits are worked out by the time us A/T guys get ours...

Wave-- so just the $500.00 for you, huh? That's all I was expecting. Must have been a mix up. As long as I get the $3045.00 back in my account until shipping time (July?), I'm cool. Mistakes happen, assuming that's the case here.

I am very much with you on the hope that the bugs are worked out (CEL mainly). I really did not want to have to buy a ScanGauge or whatever that device is-- and the proposed concept of this kit was "nothing else to buy"/"you don't need gauges", etc. I do not want to monitor that stuff constantly (my wife uses the car as much or more than me as is) and if that's a requirement, then boost ain't for me afterall and I am simply out $500.00 for thinking otherwise.

HEY SO I JUST IM'ED OSCAR ITS NOT A CHARGE ITS JUST A PRE-AUTHO, THE AMOUNT WILL BE BACK IN A DAY OR SO

"Actually, it went 2645.50 pre-auth and then 500.00 pre-auth. We are working thorought the process. For some reason, when we are writing Sales Orders with Deposits, it is pre-authorizing the 2645.50 before the deposit, which is not correct. You were not charged at all. It is a pre-authorization. Your money will be back on the card in a day or so" - OSCAR

Nobody's card was charged the full amount. According to our system, you were automatically pre-authorized for the remainder. The pre-authorization is temporary, and not a charge. I apologize for the trouble.

We are revising our Deposit process to make sure the Account Balance is not pre-authorized.

Your working credit will be back on the card in a day or so.

damn, I wish I wasn't deployed overseas when the pre-order was taking place. Now I'm coming home and fellow Fit owners are SC'ed.

i second this. according to some, the hondata upgrade should be a better solution, i just want to know if its going to be avail for the a/t.

i hope someone out there in cali gets this kit who wants to stay carb legal, that way i can find out if its worth it in that guise.

I thought aliencowboy is running the carb legal kit on his a/t (no injectors). you could ask him but imo 4 grand for 20-25 hp is not worth it.

I have the A/T Beta Kit, it is the carb legal kit, and it is only 3-4 lbs now.
KW will be making some changes in the next few weeks.
I have a Megan B-Pipe and muffler.
No CEL's in the 3 weeks I have had it.
Averaging about 33 mpg, (my foot is heavy) before was 36-37.
Any other questions? Let me know.....
Hope this helps
