Yea he does not know any thing about moding i guess. This car weighs what maybe 2,500 pounds. That kit is street legal i could get pulled over and not have to worry about anything. That is peace of mind to me. I mean a dyno jet will read more than a mustang dyno. And some shops dynos will show more than others. The way i see it this kit was made for the fit its legal does not affect MPG to much this should have came with the fit stock. Than if u wanted more power upgrade to another turbo kit made for off road use only. The only thing i guess its hard to find a tuner for these but theres one close to me.

so for your car did you have to get the kit retuned when you changed exhaust and sparkplugs or did the pretuned hks kit work fine with your mods? btw what were you putting down stock with this kit?

Jeez....if you guys are so hung up on number, go to the 1/4 mile track and get some real numbers. Dynos are SO inaccurate, too many variables can change the numbers easily so the numbers are good as a "gauge" only. One dyno can read almost 25% lower/higher than another, so what's the point? You don't even know what dyno HKS uses to calculate the gains from their kit, so why squabble over it?

Put the damn kit on, get on the street, gain a little "oomph" (because that's all any f/i will give you on a 1.5L sohc) and be happy. Or if you REALLY want to, go to the track and get some real 1/4 mile numbers.

Yes this was my point. But the fit still sucks at 1/4 mile with a turbo. anything slower than a 14 sec 1/4 time should not do drag at all. The Fit was made for auto X.

Because the Fit is slower than 14sec it shouldnt drag? How do you try and get it lower than 14sec? Youll never know unless you run the car.

BTW, Josh got his car re-tuned and dynoed more.

I mean yes if that is ur thing to drag this car go for it. But the fit is not meant for drag at all its so slow in the straight line. If i was going for drag i would get a faster straight line car like a 03-04 cobra. But i like the twisties better. But to each there own just have fun with the car that is what is important

if 109hp = 142hp @ THE CRANK
if 90hp ish @ the wheels = 120 hp ish TO THE WHEELS with EXHAUST and SPARK, that is WITH EXHAUST AND SPARK
i.e. a MODIFIED fit will make 30% more hp
remember u have to REMOVE THE ENGINE FROM THE CAR and put it on an engine dyno to get crank hp, also measuring hp on a dyno with the hood up will EXAGGERATE hp #'s

also, if your car made 120 hp (made up numbers) with an intake and headers THOSE MODS WILL BE USELESS in the turbo set-up, I.E. u will not make 156hp

r u going to spend 3k on the testimony on 1 fool only?
if the kit made 140hp to the WHEELS WITHOUT an exhaust and spark (that's about a 60% increase) do u think HKS would say that?

testimonial by ONLY 1 person (a known exaggerator [look at his previous posts]) is better than HKS??

many different people have posted hp #'s on the t1r kit and the kwsc

ONLY kamiwannabe has posted here
remember kamispeed sells stuff that is marketed to usdm fits that DO NOT FIT!!!! (he vouches for liars)

maybe HKS was conservative but where are the all the other people with hp #'s??

believe whatever u want but....
LOOK IT UP YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HKS USA HKS Honda Fit Bolt-on Turbo Kit

DAMM dude did you miss the last 15 pages. That and 100% missed 101 on turbo cars? I think It has already been proven the HKS kit will make 150HP to the wheels with just a cat delete, NO F-CON RETUNE.

And to say kamiwannabe is a lier is messed up on your own part. When I read your post I thought you were a Politician tring to discredit him. You should have put at the bottom. I am the spokes person for all turbo cars and "I approve this message".

But the same can be said for a drag stip, hell some times the left lane is faster then the right lane, Weather plays a big part on how your car does.

I do agree, the Fit at a drag stip is for FUN only not to take names.

i'm thinking of selling my 240 to get this kit. i don't like m 240 anymore. too many problems always breaks down and just sits their.

i thinking of doing the jdm front end conversion. i think the t1r kit you have to cut the bumper a lil. will this fit the jdm front?

also what kind of problems will i have 5 years down the line with this kit on? will this make my motor go out faster?

sfACTOR1 I don't care about drag racing or 13 second passes. If I did, I would have bought another car. If you don't like it don't buy it. It is that simple. So please, put down the hater-ade.

Have a beer and relax.
